ABS-CBN is proud to present another television masterpiece this 2012, Walang Hanggan, which is a television adaptation of the 1991 movie Hihintayin Kita sa Langit. The said movie was helmed by Carlitos Siguion Reyna with a script derived from Emily Bronte's novel, Wuthering Heights. This teleserye promises stellar performances from a great mix of cast at the same time a story that transcends through time.
Walang Hanggan, a powerhouse drama about family, revenge and eternal love stars two queens of Philippine cinema, Susan Roces and Helen Gamboa. It also stars Rita Avila, Melissa Ricks, Joem Bascon and Paulo Avelino with the special participation of Eddie Guttierez and Joel Torre. The drama also showcases the comeback of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta's tandem (who stars in the original movie though casted now in different roles). This will also be the first screen team up of prized posssessions, Coco Martin and Julia Montes.
Aside from a remarkable story and powerhouse cast, Walang Hanggan also excites with its theme song, Hanggang sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan sang by the 'King of teleserye theme songs' and Mr. Pure Energy himself, Gary Valenciano. A very heartfelt Gary V rendition is airing on today's television in the tradition of top kapamilya dramas - Sana Maulit Muli, Tayong Dalawa, Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo and Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.
Under the direction of Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Trina Dayrit, Walang Hanggan is one big teleserye that awaits avid viewers from around the globe this 2012.
