Is it true that Happy Yipee Yehey will be axed soon?
According to a reliable source of an entertainment blog, the said kapamilya noontime show (which is behind in the ratings game against rival longtime running program Eat Bulaga) will be replaced by a new show tentatively titled Palibhasa Tanghali.
The said showbiz insider confirmed that the HYY will get the ax on February 4, 2012. A new program may or may not have a new set of hosts and questions arise whether RJR will still be intact in the new show or Toni, Pokwang, Bianca, Melai, Pratty, Matteo and Bentong or any of them be survived after the rumored replacement.
If we will based on the title of the show, we can have a wild guess that the show will have some of the casts of the hit ABS-CBN 90's sitcom, Palibhasa Lalake. Recently, we see Manong Joey Marquez returning to the kapamilya network via Showtime and Richard Gomez via premiering series Walang Hanggan. It is possible that the kapamilya network is cooking for a new trio with Goma, Joey and John Estrada with it (the three were former casts of the defunct sitcom).
Anyhow, let's just wait for the official announcement (and hope that whether HYY be replaced or not, kapamilya's noontime will get at par or in a closer fight with such an institution as Eat Bulaga).
