After his New York vacation with Kris Aquino, Josh, Bimby and Liz Uy, John 'Sweet' Lapus headed at once for the taping of Ikaw Ay Pag-ibig. Sweet will be a guest star in the said Kapamilya primetime series and will play the role of Max, a problematic being who is forced to join a syndicate. His episode will air this January 11.
Although shooting with the Kapamilya network, he is not actually transferring. Sweet will still have a non-exclusive contract in GMA-7 for his the showbiz-oriented talk show, Showbiz Central. Sweet, on his PEP interview said that he missed working with kapamilya stars. He also meet old friends in the said network like directors Erick Salud and Jojo Saguin.
Meanwhile, Sweet will also be seen in one of the episodes of Wansapanataym which will be airing soon.
Though a Kapuso, Sweet is still a member of ABS-CBN's talent arm, Star Magic under the supervision of Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto.
