Another much-awaited teleserye from ABS-CBN is Nang Dahil Sa Pag-ibig (formerly Padre de Pamilya). The said teleserye will star Piolo Pascual, Maricar Reyes, Cristine Reyes and Jericho Rosales. Also included in the cast are Christopher De Leon, Sandy Andolong, Rafael Rosell, Denise Laurel, Tetchie Agbayani and Rey PJ Abellana.
In his interview with Boy Abunda via Philstar.com, Piolo revealed that the said series scares him a lot due to its very sensitive topic.
“It talks about fathers, father to son, and from my perspective, from my point of view, my story, my conflict. I’m a priest who gets into a relationship with his sister so medyo delikado talaga siya kaya nakakatakot. Then ‘yung adoptive parents niya becomes his… I don’t wanna say kalaban but at first they are his ally. His father gets into politics at kapag nagsama ang politics at religion nakakatakot, so ‘yun.”
Meanwhile, the camera for the said series starts rolling and they had taped several scenes already. Newest addition to the cast, Cristine Reyes imparted that she's loving South (referring to her first shooting day). Some insiders had taken photos of Piolo and Cristine for the shoot of their teleserye scenes at UPLB.
