OSCARS 2012 will Air on ABS-CBN

The much awaited 84th edition of the Academy Awards will be televised in the Philippines through your Kapamilya, ABS-CBN Channel 2.

The free TV telecast will be aired on February 27, 2012 via satellite.

The 2012 edition of the Academy Awards will happen on February 26, 2012 (February 27 in the Philippines) at the Kodak Theater in hollywood. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) is the organization behind the movie industry's most prestigious honor, known as the OSCARS.

The 84th Academy Awards Ceremony on the 26th will be hosted by Billy Crystal. Prior to this main event, the awaited announcement of the nominees for awards will take place on the 24th of January, 2012 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
