Actress Carla Abellana is all set to for a big network transfer to ABS-CBN, Manila Bulletin Online Entertainment reported. The bulletin's source confirmed that Carla and her manager, Arnold Vegafria have been negotiating with the Kapamilya network and the big move will happen as soon as her contract with GMA-7 expires (reported to end this month).

Carla's intention to leave her home network hinged on GMA-7's priorities when it comes to giving projects to its roster of talents. According to the source, the network's main priorities are Marian Rivera, Barbie Forteza and Bea Binene (in that order) so Carla decided to transfer for career growth.
Carla, in one of her interviews said that she wanted to have more time to think about her decision so she requested a rest after her last shooting day in her afternoon soap. Carla exclaimed that she's not getting any younger and any opportunity to work with other artists and play different mature roles would be more of a priority for the actress.
Carla was first known for playing the title role in the 2009 remake of Mexicanovela Rosalinda, opposite Geoff Eigenmann who later became her real-life boyfriend.
