Enrique Gil Plays A Prince in 'Princess and I', Goes to Bhutan for Series Shoot

Fast rising idol, Enrique Gil flew to Bhutan for the shoot of his upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye, Princess and I. Enrique followed leading lady Kathryn Bernardo, Gretchen Barretto and Albert Martinez in the said  Himalayan   kingdom to tape major scenes for the pilot week of Princess and I.

Enrique Gil will play the role of Prince Jao, a next heir to the throne in the Kingdom by the mountains. He will be one of Kathryn's leading men which also include Daniel Padilla and Khalil Ramos.

Enrique was thankful to fans that after their full support in his recently concluded series, Budoy,  they are now looking forward to his pairing with Kathryn Bernardo in Princess and I. In a press interview, Enrique revealed some details about the said project.

“Parang Cinderella-type of story pero true to life. It’s a story of a long-lost princess [Kathryn]. Yung nanny kasi nung princess Pinay so inuwi niya sa Pilipinas yung princess. When she turns 19, babalik siya sa Bhutan tapos pagdating dun, nagkakilala kami not knowing that she's a real princess. Ako 'yung next heir to the throne pero ‘di kami related,” shares Enrique.

Enrique and Kathryn first worked together in the Star Cinema movie, Way Back Home from which their pairing received good reviews from fans. Enrique will also star in the upcoming movie, The Reunion  opposite Jessy Mendiola.
