Angelito: Batang Ama's lead star, JM De Guzman will be doing an indie film about soon-to-be 2nd Filipino saint, Pedro Calungsod. JM is said to play the role of Blessed Pedro Calungsod in the film.
In an interview by PEP, JM shared his excitement on doing the said biopic of a Filipino saint. He said these roles were what he wanted, different from the previous roles he already had played. Working with a very nice script by Francis Villacorta, JM expressed his anticipation for the project and already did a little research about the life of Blessed Pedro Calungsod.
The said film is expected to be released before October, according to the young hearthrob, who is also part of ASAP's BoysRBoys, together with Markki Stroem, Alex Castro and Bryan Termulo.
