Fil-Mexican-American Jessica Sanchez could have been eliminated on tonight's American Idol Season 11 Top 7 Results Show, April 12 (April 13 in the Philippines) if not for the judges' save. Jessica is the one who got the lowest number of votes after last night's performance.
A very shocking results show was seen wherein frontrunners Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet falls on the bottom 3 together with hot seat semi-regular, Elise Testone.
After learning who were in the bottom 3 tonight, judge Steven Tyler already said that no matter what, they will use their save vote on any of those three singers in the hot seat.
Jessica Sanchez had to sing Nobody's Supposed to Be Here (and Jessica is not supposed to be there in the bottom 3) by Deborah Cox for the save. She was stopped midway into her song after judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez used their one save for the season to keep her on the show.

In last night's performance show, Joshua Ledet was the only one who got the judges' standing ovation for his performance of Bruno Mars' Runaway Baby. Jessica, meanwhile received positive reviews for her soulful rendition of Jazmine Sullivan's Stuttering, getting a 'fish slayer' tag from judge Randy Jackson.

Next week, 7 people will still go head to head to have the chance to go to the American Idol finale in May. But unlike the previous results show, the judges don't have the power now to save and it will all be up to America. Two idols might be going home next week, as with the previous seasons.
Watch Colton Dixon, Skylar Laine, Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, Jessica Sanchez, Elise Testone and Hollie Cavanagh on next week's Idol perfromance.
