The Devil Wears Prada author Lauren Weisberger has confirmed that she is working on a sequel to the hit 2003 novel which launched a hit 2006 movie starring Meryll Streep and Anne Hathaway.
With the title Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns, Lauren's new story will pick up eight years after the 1st book. In the sequel, Andy Sachs will now be editing The Plunge, the hottest bridal magazine in town and will be working with former nemesis Emily - now her bestfriend. Andy will cross paths with old boss Miranda Priestly again as she plans for her own wedding.

Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns is slated to hit the shelves this 2013, ten years after the first novel was published.
With the author penning the sequel, could there also be a reunion for Meryll Streep (Miranda) and Anne Hathaway (Andy) in the big screen?
If ever there's one (and surely there will be), three-time Oscar awardee Meryll Streep told Access Hollywood that she's willing to reprise her role as the Anna Wintour-esque character Miranda Priestly in the sequel. But according to Streep, she first had to lose weight to stage her comeback in the halls of the Runway magazine.
Meryll Streep also garnered an Osacr nomination for her role as Miranda in The Devil Wears Prada.
