After Saturday's first live show performance, one of the X Factor Philippines Final 12 bade goodbye Sunday, August 5 on its very first Live Results Show elimination night.
Jerrianne Mae Templo (girls category) was the first one to be eliminated from the show after being voted by the three judges to go home. Jerrianne became a part of the bottom 2 lowest text and online votes getter along with Joan Da (over 25's).
The two had a sing-off for survival where Jerrianne took on Etta James' At Last. Joan Da sang Adele's Chasing Pavements. Pilita Corrales, who mentored Joan Da voted for her protege to stay along with the two guy judges, Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano. Only Jerrianne's mentor, Charice wanted her to stay. With a judge/mentor vote tally of 3-1, Jerrianne was eliminated.
The X Factor Philippines Final 12 performed songs from the movies on the first live show. From its amazing stage at the PAGCOR Grand Theater to the fabulous showcase of talents, the first live show of ABS-CBN's The X Factor franchise is highly commendable.
Here is the list of songs of The X Factor Philippines Final 12 on the first live show based on the order of performance:
- Take Off – “Jail House Rock” by Elvis Presley
- Allen Jane Sta. Maria – “Keep Holding On” by Avril Lavigne
- Gabriel Maturan – “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars

A.K.A. JAM, a new name give by mentor Gary V to his Lucky Girls (from the members' first names -- Alyssa, Katrina, Ashley, Jhelsea, Auriette and Monique) received the very first standing ovation of the season. Meanwhile, the groups categories all did well.
Among the boys, it was Gabriel Maturan who surprised the judges with his moves. The girls also improved a lot. However, early favorite KZ Tandingan was criticized for a wrong song choice made by mentor Charice. Among the over 25's , it was Mark Mabasa who amazed the judges, saying that he's born to be a star.
Next week, The X Factor Philippines Final 11 will again perform on the show's second Live Performance Night and on Sunday, another finalists will get the boot.
