This Guy's In Love With You Mare posted the best five-day gross of a Filipino movie this year by virtue of its P123.5 million ticket sales from October 10-14 according to Box Office Mojo. The Vice-Toni-Luis triangle movie under Star Cinema and Viva Films is the number 1 film for the said period.
Meanwhile, John Lloyd and Bea's The Mistress had a 5-week local box office gross of P262.8 million. The Olivia Lamasan-helmed film is now the third highest-grossing Pinoy film of all time.
The Aga-Regine reunion film, Of All The Things raked in P22.43 million after 3 weeks of showing. The gross of Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles is much awaited as its budget was reportedly about P80 million due to CG effects that can be at par to hollywood films. Early reports claimed that the said Dingdong Dantes starrer did well on its opening day with a P10.8 million gross.
