After June Macasaet's historic win in the recently concluded Manhunt International 2012 in Thailand, two other Pinoys will be carrying the Philippine flag in the international arena in a bid to capture two other male pageant titles, Mr. World 2012 and Mr. International 2012.
Mark John Gutoman, a teacher from Marikina will be the country's bet to the 2012 Mr. International pageant. Mark Gutoman earned his passport to Thailand by winning the local Mr. International 2012 pageant last October 6, beating 28 others.
The 7th edition of Mister International (2012) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand this November 24 where Cesar Curti of Brazil will be crowning his successor. More than 40 candidates from across the globe will be converging once again in the said country which gave the Philippines two consecutive pageant titles this year.
Meanwhile, model-athlete Andrew James Peñaflorida Wolff (better known as Andrew Wolff) will be the country's representative to the 7th edition of Mr. World (the male counterpart of Miss World) to be held also on November 24 in Kent, England. Andrew will be pitted against 53 gorgeous men from around the world to get the title previously held by Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland.
Unlike Gutoman, the 6’2 tall Andrew Wolff—who is of Filipino-British descent and a member of the Philippine Volcanoes—was just appointed by franchise holder Cory Quirino. He was chosen from about 25 candidates in a private judging instead of holding a national competition because of time constraints.
