Korean superstar Lee Min Ho is in Manila, Philippines courtesy of global brand Bench which he endorses. The City Hunter star arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 past noon on Thursday, November 15. Min Ho sported a shorter hair after having it long for the Korean drama Faith.
Lee Min Ho's flight from Korea has been delayed a bit but fans, especially the Minoz still patiently awaited at the NAIA terminal just to give their idol warm Filipino welcome. The hash tag #WelcomeToManilaLEEMINHO also trended on Twitter (top spot) in anticipation of Lee Min Ho's arrival in Manila.
Lee Min Ho will be staying in the country for 4 days, doing mall shows, fun meets and TV guesting. To start with, Lee Min Ho will grace the Benchsetter Fun Meet on November 16, Friday, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Lee Min Ho will also have a mall tour on November 18 at SM North EDSA Skydome (3PM), Glorietta new Activity Center G/F (5 PM) and at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall G/F (6 PM).
ABS-CBN is the official media partner of Lee Min Ho's visit in the Philippines and Min Ho is also expected to appear on The Buzz this Sunday in a taped interview by Toni Gonzaga. His arrival will also be covered on ABS-CBN TV Patrol later.
Lee Min Ho became popular across Asia via the hit Korean version of Boys Over Flowers. He later starred in Perfect Match (Personal Preference) and City Hunter, all aired on ABS-CBN. His latest project, the period drama Faith has also been acquired by ABS-CBN, according to reports.
