The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) has revealed the nominees for the 2013 Star Awards for Movies. Star Cinema dominated the list of nominees for the 29th edition of Star Awards.
Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 Best Picture One More Try and The Mistress led this year's nominees, with a total of 13 nominations each, including acting nods for the cast.
Angel Locsin, Angelica Panganiban, Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, Gina Alajar, Jodi Sta. Maria and Bea Alonzo will be vying for the Best Actress trophy while John Lloyd Cruz, Dingdong Dantes, Eddie Garcia, Aga Muhlach, Jericho Rosales, Jeorge Estregan and Coco Martin will go head to head for the Best Actor award.
The 2013 Star Awards for Movies will be held on March 10 at the AFP Theater in Quezon City. It will be broadcast on ABS-CBN's Sunday's Best on March 17.
