After getting K-Pop superstars Lee Min Ho and Siwon and Donghae (SiHae) of Super Junior, global brand Bench introduces their newest Benchsetter, Nichkhun of the K-Pop group 2PM.
Born to Thai-Chinese parents, Nichkhun was born in the United States. He spent his childhood in Thailand and studied in New Zealand for a year and a half before going back in his California hometown to finish his secondary education.
Although not Korean, Nichkhun became a part of the group 2PM after being discovered in a K-Pop festival in Hollywood. He had undergone training before debuting in 2008. Now, the 24-year-old heartthrob is one of the most popular members of the group.
The announcement of Nichkhun as the newest Benchsetter is very timely as his boy band 2PM will be coming to Manila this March 2 for a one night only concert as part of their 2PM "What Time Is It?" Asia tour. The six-member group, composed of Junsu, Taecyeon, Junho, Chansung, Wooyoung and Nichkhun will be the first JYP Artists to invade Manila concert scene (click here for tickets and other details).
