Popular kilig tandem Kim Chiu and Xian Lim bagged the Love Team of the Year award in the Yahoo OMG! Awards 2013 held July 19 at the MOA Arena.
KimXi, with 325,453 votes, beat strong love team contenders Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, who got 212,513 votes.
Real-life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes placed third with 88,953 votes. Be Careful With My Heart partners Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria took the fourth place with 69,559, while Mundo Mo’y Akin love team Louise delos Reyes and Alden Richards placed fifth with 18,258 votes.
This is the second time that Kim and Xian won the said title, the first on last year’s Yahoo OMG! Awards were they emerged as the big winner, also capturing the Breakthrough Actor and Actress awards (now handled by Enrique Gil and Kathryn Bernardo).
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim started as a love team in the hit series My Binondo Girl. Their tandem has a follow up in the phenomenal Ina Kapatid Anak, which won this year's Yahoo OMG! Best Teleserye Award (CLICK HERE for the complete list of winners).
Kim and Xian will continue to bring "kilig" to fans via their first big screen team up Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo which will premiere in theaters this July 31.
