Mister International 2013, the 8th edition of the Mister International male pageant was held November 21 at the Skenoo Hall, Gandaria City Mall, Jakarta, Indonesia. Jose Anmer Paredes of Venezuela was hailed as the winner at the end of the event, succeeding Ali Hammoud of Lebanon.
Mr. Venezuela Jose Anmer Paredes bested 37 other gorgeous men from different territories around the world to grab the 8th Mister International title. Meanwhile, Mister International Philippines Gil Wagas entered the semifinals as the fan vote winner, and hence was called last just like Ariella Arida in Miss Universe 2013. He later joined the elite 6 and ended up in 5th place.

This year's edition of Mister International had similarities with the results of Miss Universe 2013 not only with the winner both coming from Venezuela (Maria Gabriela Isler, Miss Universe 2013) but also in the order of announcement of semifinalists. The pageant website also resembles that of Miss Universe. Coincidence?Congratulations to the winners, especially to Gil Wagas who made history as the very first Philippine representative to enter the final round of competitions (Top 5) of Mister International since its conception in 2006.
