The Miss Earth 2013 Pageant happened Saturday, December 7 at the Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Tereza Fajksová of Czech Republic crowned her successor, Alyz Henrich of Venezuela at the end of the event.
Miss Earth 2013, the 13th edition of the pageant is in line with the international year of water cooperation. This year, 88 lovely ladies from different parts of the globe vied for the most coveted crown made of 100% recycled precious metals, 14-karat gold, and argentums sterling silver. The winner was also hailed as the newest ambassador to environmental protection campaigns worldwide.

Hosted by Singapore-based model/hosts Oli Pettigrew and Linda Black, the Miss Earth 2013 pageant was broadcast live on Fox Network’s Star World channel and on Latin American countries thru Venevision Venezuela and Mexico, and USA territories thru MVS/UNO TV.
A delayed telecast will be aired on ABS-CBN on Sunday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. and will also be telecast on The Filipino Channel and broadcast in participating countries.
