Kim Chiu's Funny Side on Banana Split this June 9

Club Mwah was filled with laughs as Banana Split taped there with guest Kim Chiu. Kim is a natural comedian because she’s a cheerful person even off-cam.

This is her first time to guest on the show and she’s glad that the gang warmly welcomed her.

“I feel happy. This is a new experience. Comedy is a different world for me,” Kim shared.

But according to Kim, if ever a role in a comedy show will be offered to her, she thinks that she can’t handle it yet. “I’m not good at making people laugh. I just know how to laugh.”

Don’t miss Kim Chui this Saturday on Banana Split with the gang comprising of Angelica Panganiban, Ryan Bang, John Prats and the others. Watch out for the Pacquiao training spoof, the comic duo Pepay and Negra and Kim Chiu on hot seat.

Born To Love You Grosses P29.7 Million on It's First 5 Days

Born To Love You starring Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto had grossed P29.7 million on its first 5 days of showing according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). Born To Love You surpassed the first 5 days gross of  Every Breath U Take with P25.52 million.

Born To Love You debuted at no. 3 in the box office tally, bowing to Snow White and the Huntsman which earned  an estimated P41.7 million for the period May 30-June 3, debuting at the top spot. Meanwhile, The Piolo Pascual-Angelica Panganiban starrer, Every Breath U Take has now grossed an estimated P50.2 million after 3 weeks.

Piolo Pascual and Angelica Panganiban Paired Anew in Teleserye

Piolo Pascual will be paired again with Angelica Panganiban for an upcoming big ABS-CBN teleserye. This was confirmed by Piolo Pascual in his interview with ABS-CBN news.

According to Piolo, the new teleserye will be having a good yet 'difficult concept' such that he immediately said yes to the project. He also revealed that the new series will feature a 'water element.'

"I'm supposed to do a soap with Angelica Panganiban. It's drama, maganda 'yung concept, kaya hindi ko rin natanggihan. ABS has to come up with new, difficult concepts. It's big, we're going places. [It's] very phsyical, it's physically challenging - may water element, that's all I can say," he said.

Piolo also confirmed that hunk actor Diether Ocampo will also be joining the cast. If that is so, this will be Diether and Piolo's first teleserye together. Diether had already worked with Angelica in Iisa Pa Lamang while Angelica and Piolo were paired not only in their latest movie Every Breath U Take but also in the TV series, Mangarap Ka.

As far as we know, Piolo is referring to the teleserye Mariposang Dagat which was confirmed as Angelica Panganiban's comeback teleserye after Rubi and the unfortunate cancellation of Alta.

Indeed, we can't help but look forward to this teleserye. Imagine Piolo Pascual, Angelica Panganiban and Diether Ocampo in a big drama TV project? Well, we might be looking at another Primetime Bida hit that we Filipinos can be proud of.

Piolo, who is now busy for taping scenes for the last 4 weeks of Dahil Sa Pag-ibig said that the shoot for his soap with Angelica and Diether (that we believe is Mariposang Dagat) will start right after wrap-up of Dahil Sa Pag-ibig.

Every Breath U Take 2nd Week Gross: P42.83 Million!

Every Breath U Take starring Angelica Panganiban and Piolo Pascual grossed P42.83 million after 2 weeks of showing according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). Every Breath You Take is still the no. 1 Philippine movie for the period of May 23-27.

Debuting film MIB 3 topped the local box office for the said period, raking P71.22 million for its first 5 days. Another Pinoy movie, The Mommy Returns grossed P30.6 million.

Coco, Bea, Enchong and Angelica Goes to Barcelona, Spain this June 3 for Kapamilya Fiesta World

Kapamilya Fiesta World will come home to where it all began – the romantic city of Barcelona, Spain.

The city of wines and bright lights had been the first international venue of the Kapamilya Fiesta World and a grand homecoming will happen on its 5th year on June 3 at the Parc de la Barcelona.

After the first big blast, the Kapamilya Fiesta World has been presented to thousands of Kapamilyas all over the world. It has visited Canada, Italy, Dubai, Japan, Paris and USA.

Primetime royalties Coco Martin, Bea Alonzo, Enchong Dee and Angelica Panganiban will be present in the event which will be hosted by talented and sexy host Giselle Sanchez.

Kapamilyas in Barcelona will also have the chance to win one of three iPads. In this celebration, TFC will also hold the TFCikat Singing Contest Grand Finals.

Some VIP Kapamilyas will be celebrating the 5th year of the fiesta. ABS-CBN’s Mr. Ron Valdueza, Chief Finance officer, Mr. August Benitez, Head of ABS-CBN Sales, Mr. Jerry Bennett, RNG – VP, Mr. Egay Garcia, TFC –Europe Mananging Director and Mr. Danny Buenafe, Europe News Bureau Chief will be present at the special event.

Every Breath U Take Grosses P25.5 Million on its First Week

Star Cinema's comedy romance, Every Breath You Take starring Angelica Panganiban and Piolo Pascual had grossed P25.5 million on its first weekend (5 days of showing) according to third party tabulator Box Office Mojo (BOM) for the period of May 16-20. 

Every Breath U Take was the number 1 movie for the said period, ending the 3-week reign of The Avengers, which is deemed as the all-time highest grossing movie in the country. The Piolo-Angelica starrer was also the top debuting movie of the period, beating hollywood films such as Safe and What To Expect When You're Expecting.

Meanwhile, another Pinoy movie, Pokwang's The Mommy Returns had already grossed P27.8 million after 2 weeks of showing.
