You're Still The One Premieres January 2013 on ABS-CBN
ABS-CBN has released the full trailer for You're Still The One, one of the three Asianovela offerings of Kapamilya network for the first quarter of 2013.
You're Still The One (also known as So For You, Still You) originally aired in SBS Korea from May 21 to December 3, 2012. With a total of 124 episodes, the Asianovela is perhaps the longest Korean drama ABS-CBN has acquired.
Starring Shin Eun Kyung, Kim Seung Soo, Wang Bit Na and Song Jae Hee, You're Still The One is about a woman who just want to make a fake divorce with her husband but turn out with the real divorce. The series will premiere January 2013 on ABS-CBN UmaGanda.

Aside from You're Still The One, other Asianovelas confirmed to air first quarter of 2013 include Rooftop Prince and A Thousand Days Promise.
Korea's most-loved series of 2012, Rooftop Prince will premiere this January 7 on ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold. The said fantasy romantic comedy television drama stars Park Yuchun (Secret Love Sungkyunkwan Scandal), Han Ji-min, Jeong Yu-mi, Lee Tae-sung, Lee Min-ho (not the star of City Hunter), Jung Suk-won and Choi Woo-shik.
Originally aired this year in Korea's SBS channel from March 14 to May 24, Rooftop Prince (also known as Attic Prince) will be the first Asianovela offering of the Kapamilya network in 2013.

When Crown Prince
Lee Gak is transported 300 years into the future to present day Seoul along

believes the odd quartet's predicament and becomes their guardian.
As Park Ha
educates the four on life in the 21st century, Lee Gak comes across Hong Se
Na, who seems to be the reincarnation of his wife.
Taking on the

Yong Tae Yong and in turn moves closer to solving the murder case of the
Crown Princess.
As he finds
himself in love with Park Ha, he figures that maybe the Crown Princess was
not so perfect after all.
The 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2012 MAMA), the most anticipated Asian awards show in the region happened November 30 at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The 2012 MAMA, organized by Mnet Media, was attended by the hottest K-Pop artists in town including Big Bang, PSY, Super Junior, SISTAR and Wang Lee Hom with the hottest Korean top stars like Jung Woo Sung, Song Seung Heon, Song Joong Ki, Yoon Eun Hye, and Han Chae Young. Hongkong superstar Jackie Chan, rapper B.o.B, and American Idol alumnus Adam Lambert also graced the event.
Sarah Geronimo became the first Filipino to win the Best Asian Artist award (Philippines) at MAMA. She shared the award with other Asian artists from Japan, Vietnam, China and Indonesia. Meanwhile, Big Bang and SISTAR bagged the Best Male and Female Group, respectively, beating Super Junior and 2NE1.
The Daesang (3 grand awards) went to Big Bang (Artist of the Year), Super Junior (Album of the Year- Sexy Free & Single) and PSY (Song of the Year - Gangnam Style).

South Korean rap star Psy's Gangnam Style music videonow holds the record of being YouTube's most-watched video, beating Justin Bieber's Baby music video. Gangnam Style, named after the affluent Gangnam District of Seoul has become a worldwide hit since it was uploaded on the said site in July.
YouTube, in a post on its Trends blog, said Gangnam Style on Saturday surpassed the site's previous record holder, Bieber's 2010 music video Baby, and by mid-day Gangnam Style had reached 805 million views compared to 803 million for Baby. As of this posting, Gangnam Style had already have over 810 million views while Baby was left at over 804 million views.
Psy's Gangnam Style music video rocketed to over 800 million views in just four months, creating a record for itself while Justin Bieber's Baby took two years to reach over 800 million views. Aside from being the most-viewed, Gangnam Style also holds the record of having the most likes in YouTube.

Korean superstar Lee Min Ho is in Manila, Philippines courtesy of global brand Bench which he endorses. The City Hunter star arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 past noon on Thursday, November 15. Min Ho sported a shorter hair after having it long for the Korean drama Faith.
Lee Min Ho's flight from Korea has been delayed a bit but fans, especially the Minoz still patiently awaited at the NAIA terminal just to give their idol warm Filipino welcome. The hash tag #WelcomeToManilaLEEMINHO also trended on Twitter (top spot) in anticipation of Lee Min Ho's arrival in Manila.
Lee Min Ho will be staying in the country for 4 days, doing mall shows, fun meets and TV guesting. To start with, Lee Min Ho will grace the Benchsetter Fun Meet on November 16, Friday, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Lee Min Ho will also have a mall tour on November 18 at SM North EDSA Skydome (3PM), Glorietta new Activity Center G/F (5 PM) and at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall G/F (6 PM).
ABS-CBN is the official media partner of Lee Min Ho's visit in the Philippines and Min Ho is also expected to appear on The Buzz this Sunday in a taped interview by Toni Gonzaga. His arrival will also be covered on ABS-CBN TV Patrol later.
Lee Min Ho became popular across Asia via the hit Korean version of Boys Over Flowers. He later starred in Perfect Match (Personal Preference) and City Hunter, all aired on ABS-CBN. His latest project, the period drama Faith has also been acquired by ABS-CBN, according to reports.
Rumors about KPOP princess IU and Super Junior's Eunhyuk dating surfaced recently as a photo of IU and Eunhyuk together was posted accidentally on the former's twitter account. The said photo of IU and Eunhyuk was taken down within 2 minutes but netizens had saved a copy of the photo and now going viral online.
The said photo shows a shirtless Eunhyuk and a part of IU’s face. The Dream High star is in her pajama and the most shocking part is that the two seem to be lying on a bed. The photo sparked speculations that the two Korean stars were actually dating.
In an official statement released by IU's management company Loen Entertainment, it was cleared that the said photo was taken this summer when IU's very ill and Super Junior Eunhyuk visited him at her home. The photo, according to the management company was taken on a sofa and not on a bed. They also said that IU and Eunhyuk had been very close.

Starring Jang Dong Gun as Kim Do Jin, an architect with a scathing tongue who's in love with strict high school teacher Seo Yi Soo (Kim Ha Neul), who moonlights as an umpire at amateur baseball games. Sadly Yi Soo is into Dong Gun's friend Im Tae San (Kim Soo Ro) who is dating a cold-hearted woman.
Meanwhile, Choi Yoon (Kim Min Jong) tries to heal his heart after losing his wife four years ago. Lee Jung Rok (Lee Jong Hyuk) marries an older woman for money but may lose his comfortable lifestyle in a divorce.

ABS-CBN has started airing 2010's hit Sungkyunkwan Scandal in the Philippineswith the title Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Beginning this Monday (October 29), a scandalous romantic comedy is coming your way as ABS-CBN finally airs the most-watched Korean drama of 2010, “Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal” in its Kapamilya Gold afternoon block.
The hit series is topbilled by Korean sweetheart popularly known to many Filipinos as Kim Na Na of “City Hunter,” Park Min Young, and Korea’s hottest and most sought-after actor today, Park Yoo Chun.
Kapamilya actor Rap Fernandez also tries out dubbing for the first time as he is the voice behind the character of Goo Yong Ha.
Set in a period where society does not allow females to be educated nor employed, Kim Yoon-hee (Min-young) disguises herself as her brother, Kim Yoon-shik, in order to alleviate her family from poverty. She goes through a series of odd jobs before she takes on the illegal act of becoming a substitute test-taker for the upcoming entrance examination in the prestigious Sungkyunkwan University.
Unfortunately, she got caught by the smart and upright Lee Sun-joon (Yoo chun) who was also an aspiring student of Sungkyunkwan. But instead of taking her to the authorities, Sun-joon acknowledged Yoon-hee’s talents and encouraged her to enroll in the university.
To avoid being used by her family to pay their tremendous amount of debts, Yoon-hee agreed to what Sun-joon said and took the exam at the prestigious school still assuming the identity of his brother Yoon-shiShe passed the exams and this is where the fun, laughter, romance, and scandal begin. KPOP sensation BIGBANG arrived in Manila, Philippines today, October 22 for the Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012 concert to be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday, October 24.
Big Bang members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Seungri, Daesung and Taeyang arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 around 3:30 PM aboard Flight CI703 from Taiwan, the previous stop of their Alive Galaxy Tour before the Philippines.
Big Bang received a warm welcome from Filipino fans who patiently waited for the coming of their idols. The fans (known as VIPs) were reportedly singing BigBang's hits while waiting for them. The hashtag #MABUHAYBIGBANG also trended on Twitter as fans constantly share their excitement for the coming of Big Bang.

Sandara Park, now known as Dara of the popular K-POP girl group 2NE1 has recently joined Twitter. Dara created a Twitter account with the handle @krungy21 last September 17 and as of this posting, she had already more than 100, 000 followers.
Sandara's Twitter handle handle is based on the term "krung krung," which was used to describe her unpredictable personality during her stay in Philippine showbiz. It can be recalled that Dara was dubbed as the "Pambanang Krung Krung ng Pilipinas" which she also used to describe herself on twitter after the "2NE1's fresh vocalist" written in Korean.

Sandara Park was an alumna of ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest together with batch mates Hero Angeles, Roxanne Guinoo, Joross Gamboa and Melissa Ricks. She had quite a number of TV and film projects, after SCQ including Bcuz Of U (2004) and Can This Be Love (2005) with Hero Angeles (2004) and D' Lucky Ones in 2006 with Pokwang, Eugene Domingo and Joseph Bitangcol.
She also had an album bannered by her hit songs In or Out, Walang Sabit and Ang Ganda Ko.
Sandara went back to Korea in 2007 to pursue a showbiz career there and later debuted with three other girls as a member of 2NE1 under YG Entertainment, the management company of K-POP boy group, Big Bang.
On Twitter, Dara had mentioned co-stars Pokwang and Luis Manzano (Crazy For You) and friend from SCQ, Melissa Ricks.
