Marco Gumabao Jealous Over Miles Ocampo's Closeness with Arvic Rivero

On this Sunday's (August 5) episode of LUV U, JB’s (Marco Gumabao) jealousy over Camille’s (Miles Ocampo) childhood sweetheart, Bryan (Arvic Rivero), heightens because he believes that Bryan is getting in the way between him and Camille.

Meanwhile, according to “Goin’ Bulilit” graduate, Igi Boy Flores, now known as Rocky for his character in “LUV U”, he’s not like boys his age.

“Actually, I like teachers,” according to him, “I like being friends with them.”

He jokingly said that if teachers are our friends, they won’t ask us difficult questions during recitations and will be more understanding on class absences.

Will this apply to Bangs Garcia, his teacher on the comedy series, “LUV U”? On the episode this Sunday (August 5), Rocky (Igi Boy) will brew a love potion for Ms. Casimsiman (Bangs) but his experiment will go wrong and instead of his teacher, Max (Rhap Salazar) will be the one drawn to him.

Miles Ocampo Torn Between Two Lovers in 'LUV U'

Not long after Kiray Celis’ love life rocked in the hit teen comedy series, “LUV U”, a new guy will arrive at the Lamberto Uy Villarama University that will cause misunderstanding among the barkada.

The issue regarding the cute guy that “courted” Whitney (Kiray) isn’t over yet when Honey (Arie Reyes) decides to introduce her new boyfriend, Bryan, to the whole barkada. Unbeknownst to all of them, Bryan was Camille’s (Miles Ocampo) childhood sweetheart.

Honey will be filled with spite because she let go of JB (Marco Gumabao) to give way for Camille yet it seems like Camille wants to take Bryan as well. JB on the other hand, feels threatened by the presence of the new guy.

Will Honey declare war against Camille? Will Bryan’s return get in the way of JB and Camille’s feelings for each other?

Your best Sunday LUV teams will visit Jose P. Laurel High School in Project 4 Cubao this Friday (June 29) as part of their Campus Tour.

The entire “LUV U” barkada will be present to spread fun and love to students. Along with their other surprises, they have song and dance numbers in store.

The “LUV U” Campus Tour gives way to the love teams of Marco and Miles, CJ and Angeli and the wacky pair Igi-boy and Kiray to visit their fans and avid viewers. Marco Gumabao and Miles Ocampo Closer than Ever

LUV U teen star Miles Ocampo admitted that she and her on-screen partner, Marco Gumabao are growing closer.

But unlike her role in the series, Miles doesn’t feel ready to be in a relationship. “Right now, my studies and my career are much more important,” she said.

“My parents know that there are guys who want to court me but I don’t entertain them because I don’t want to be in a relationship yet,” she added.

At the moment, she focuses more on her character in “LUV U” where she and her co-stars enjoy every taping day. She shared that oftentimes they would laugh and joke around at the set but when tapings begin, they turn serious.

“Our friendship became stronger, more so when the second season started and hopefully, we’ll still be together for a long time.”

Meanwhile on “LUV U”, cousins Camille (Miles), April (Angeli Gonzales) and Whitney (Kiray Celis) will go to an all-girl event at the bowling alley, a victory party. The boys, JB (Marco), Boom (CJ Navato) and Rocky (Igiboy Flores) will be desperate to talk to the girls but they won’t be allowed inside.

Principal Spencer (Smokey Manaloto) and Mang Ariel on the other hand, will meet a Korean girl (Jinri Park) at the bowling alley.

Marco Gumabao Will Start College, Quitting Showbiz?

Marco Gumabao, who plays the lead role of the school heartthrob JB, shared that he has noticed some changes after being formally welcomed to showbiz.

“When I go to crowded places, people notice me, it makes me feel like I should be more careful,” he shared. “My friends, Alfred, Vanjo and I went to school by train (MRT) recently, and it isn’t the same anymore.”

Marco feels overwhelmed with the attention he is getting now and is also thankful for the support of the fans. An incoming AB Psychology major at the De La Salle, he really wanted to play professional basketball but instead found himself in the limelight. But amidst this fame and luck, he never thought of quitting his studies. “I am excited for my first day of classes as a college student. Hope that I can cope with my schedules and taping,” he added.

Meanwhile in “LUV U”, JB’s memory will come back and will be persistent to pursue Camille (Miles Ocampo). But the latter underwent five stages of grief after she saw Honey (Arie Reyes) kissing JB. Will there still be a chance for them?

Rumor has it that two of the main casts of the series faced a difficult challenge with regards to their love life. While the sweetness between their respective love teams in the show are getting more intimate, the personal relationships of JB and Boom, played by Marco Gumabao and CJ Navato, with their girlfriends in real life were ended. The reason for the break-ups was allegedly caused by jealousy.

Despite this, Marco and CJ find solace in the comfort of their barkada in “LUV U”. According to Miles Ocampo, who plays Camille in the show, “All of us became closer because of the show and our friendship, stronger.”

Kim Chiu's March 24 MMK Episode, A Must-See!

Kim Chiu is set to make TV viewers cry as she topbills a heavy drama episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya on Saturday (March 24). She will be playing the role of ‘Pauleen Chavez,’ a blind woman suffering from a brain tumor.

According to Kim, playing Pauleen’s character was a big challenge. “It was entirely different from my usual roles. I had to research and study about the people with brain tumors to make my performance believable.”

Kim also shared that after learning the life story of Pauleen and her sisters, she has become more inspired to work and appreciate life’s blessings.

“Because of the ‘Chavez sisters,’ I realized that we have to be contented with what we have because there are a lot of people who are struggling like them,” said Kim. “It’s inspiring to see how they strive hard and remain optimistic despite all the hardships they are faced with.”

Being her first TV appearance after the successful primetime series, “My Binondo Girl,” Kim is excited to know the viewers’ reaction to her challenging role in “MMK.” She said, “I hope they will like my performance.”

Together with Kim in the ‘Chavez sisters’ episode are Miles Ocampo, Anja Aguilar, Ana Capri, John Arcilla, Lui Manansala, Duday, and Jaycee Parker. It is researched by Akeem del Rosario, written by Benson Logronio, and directed by Nuel Naval.

A Different Kim Chiu Awaits Viewers in MMK

Kim Chiu is set to do another tear-jerker MMK epsiode. Kim will be playing a different role as she is tasked to wear prosthetics for her portrayal in the said MMK episode. Kim will be playing one of the 3 sisters from Batangas that despite a series of unfortunate events (both their parents died and the 3 stricken with disease), they managed to be positive and remain hopeful.

Kim Chiu will be joined by John Arcilla, Ana Capri, Miles Ocampo and Ian 'Duday' Galliguez in this heartwarming MMK epsiode which will air soon. The episode is directed by Nuel Naval.

Miles Ocampo Bonds with Marco Gumabao in Boracay, Not Rushing to have a Boyfriend

Puppy love is normal among teens. But to enter in a relationship at a young age is something that is not easy. This is why Miles Ocampo doesn’t want to rush having a boyfriend.

“There’s a right time for everything. I have to be careful in my every action and decision,” Miles said.

Miles’ love team mate Marco Gumabao, on the other hand, is flattered to hear that a lot of girls have a crush on him, especially those who are now hooked on “Luv U.” He, however, clarified that Miles is his only sweetheart on camera as they created a wonderful rapport already.

If other cast members of the “Luv U” have an “it’s complicated” status, it’s certain that the program remains as the no. 1 teen-oriented comedy show in the country.

Data from Kantar Media shows that “Luv U” got 9.7 percent TV rating nationwide last Sunday (March 4), which is higher than its rival show’s 8.1 percent.

Newest teen barkada on TV, LUV U cast flew to Boracay on Friday to tape for the summer episode of the said teen sitcom. The cast and crew, including Marco Gumabao, Miles Ocampo, CJ Navato, Kiray Celis, Angeli Gonzales, Igi Boy Flores, Alfred Labatos and Rhap Salazar were very excited for their first summer getaway together working in a TV comedy series.

LUV U continue to remain supreme on its timeslot beating rival teen show. The mix of former bulilits and newest teen sensations plus a new concept in bringing teen comedy surely contribute to its high ratings.

'LUV U' Pilot Episode Wins TV Ratings, Trends on Twitter

More teens are now hooked to the newest romantic yet hilarious comedy series of ABS-CBN, “Luv U.” This was evident in the TV ratings the program got on its pilot episode.

According to data from Kantar Media last February 9, “Luv U” obtained 11.9% TV rating, which is higher than the 9.1% of a teen-oriented show in the competing station.

Besides the television viewers, netizens are also captivated by this new Kapamilya Comedy offering. On his Twitter account, the program’s lead teen actor Marco Gumabao reposted a fan message that praises his boy-next-door image a lot. “JB, I can’t get you out of my mind,” goes the fan’s t weet.

Marco’s love teammate Miles, on the other hand, also received support from her Twitter fans. “Your love team is so cute. Kilig much,” goes the tweet.

Their first ever campus tour in Ramon Magsaysay High School in Cubao, Quezon City was also well received by the students.

This Sunday, JB (Marco), Camille (Miles), Boom (CJ Navato), April (Angeline Gonzales), Rocky (Igiboy Flores) and Whitney (Kiray Celis) will continue their quest to spread laughter and teen romance.

To see their crushes Camille and April, JB and Boom will convince their buddy Rocky to visit and court Whitney who lives with the two girls. Rocky, however, doesn’t see Whitney as an attractive girl. "LUV U" Will Premiere This February 19

A new teen afternoon series will replace Growing Up, which will air finale episode on February 12. ABS-CBN's latest teen offering, Luv U will replace Kathryn and Julia's series which airs after ASAP 2012.

The kapamilya teen show Growing Up, which stars Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Daniel Padilla, Diego Loyzaga, Kiray Celis and EJ Jallorina, is nearing its finale and it is reported that a new teen series will make our Sunday afternoons filled with teen romance and issues. Growing Up's  replacement is said to be entitled Luv U and will be topbilled by former childstar and Munting Miss U, Angeli Gonzales.
