Catapulted into the spotlight after landing second place in “Pilipinas Got Talent’s” third season, Khalil Ramos feels very blessed to have gotten the role of Kiko in primetime teleserye “Princess and I” in the short time he is in showbiz. He was very thrilled to see his face every day on TV and in the primetime slot nonetheless.

Although he is thankful to have broken into the world of acting, Khalil emphasizes that his number one priority is still his singing career. Wanting to perform in front of people since the age of five, Khalil says he wouldn’t mind doing a dramatic show again or an action teleserye in the future. Khalil says he felt really challenged with his stint on “Princess and I,” because aside from it being his first ever teleserye, he was able to work alongside known personalities like Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Gretchen Barretto and Albert Martinez.

Inspired her mother, Janella hopes to star in her own teleserye someday, like that of her favorites “Princess and I” and “Ina Kapatid Anak” or a dramatic episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” She also wants to work with her crush, Daniel Padilla.

Attracted to fame since he was a young boy, Kit Thompson is most remembered as a former housemate in Pinoy Big Brother’s last teen edition. He first became a ramp model and at a Bench Fashion show, he was asked by a stylist if he wanted to try show business, leading to his stint on PBB.

The Fil-New Zealander got his first acting gig via the Iza Calzado starrer “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan” and hopes he will star in more dramas in years to come. He will soon be seen on the silver screen in the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla starrer “Must Be Love.”

His advice to those who want to pursue showbiz is to be serious in their crafts and not do things half-heartedly or hurriedly. He says everything will come in its right time and place, like it did for him.

At the young age of sixteen, her work as an actress has already been recognized, not only in the country, but also abroad. Her “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode opposite Angel Aquino as an abused child earned her a nomination at the prestigious New York Festival.

Jane says she wants to be like Bea Alonzo, who is a very versatile actress and she is looking forward to try a lot of different roles in the future. She wants to try action, like that of the Angelina Jolie movie “Salt.” She also wants to do romantic comedies like “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”. She hopes to stay and work in ABS-CBN in more years to come.

With a Twitter handle of @johnlloydcruz08, the actor's first tweet was a message of gratitude to his management Star Magic for welcoming him in the popular micro-blogging site. He then greeted all his fans and shared an instagram photo of him being made up by Steven Doloso for a photoshoot.

Sam Milby is Pokwang's First Kiss in a Movie, Plays a Gigolo in 24/7 in Love

What is a 40-year-old virgin supposed to do when she finds out her fiancé has been cheating on her? Well, find a new man who she can trust and love of course! But this isn’t an easy task so who better to help her than her bff, who’s gay and full of bright ideas?

Sam Milby and Pokwang bring to life the comic story of Charles and Virgie in Star Cinema’s offering in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Star Magic, “24/7 In Love.” All three are excited in their first Star Magic collaboration and they say their episode has a lot of firsts. “It has a lot of firsts I think, this is my first time doing a movie with Pokwang. Hindi naman first time na katrabaho ko siya, we did a ‘Your Song’ a long time ago but it’s my first time being paired with her in a movie. Our story, yung story namin ni Pokwang very comedy talaga,” Sam shares. “I know it was Pokwang’s first time, ako yung first kissing scene niya ever in a movie, so she’s a virgin in the movie and she’s a virgin in terms of kissing scene, so I’m happy that I was the first, hahaha!”

On the other hand, John Lapus, who’s also part of the episode’s cast, reveals that he jumped at the chance to work with the other Star Magic artists as this is a rare opportunity. “Hindi nako tumanggi, siyempre no, bilang bibihira na pagsama-samahin kaming mga Star Magic artists sa ganito kalaki na project. Sana at least once a year, merong Star Magic movie tulad nitong ‘24/ 7 In Love’ kasi masaya na magkakasama kami and maski rin sa mga fans, ‘di ba ang bongga na nakikita nilang magkakasama kami sa isang big screen, nandun kami and of course sa premiere night makikita nila kaming lahat dun.”

Both Sam and John agree that “24/7 In Love” has a lot of lessons for the heart, which audiences from all ages can relate to. “I would say some of the most beautiful things in life come out in the most unexpected times,” Sam admits. “Sa movie, marerealize mo na, one, age doesn’t matter and two, walang pinipiling tao ang pag ibig kahit gwapo, hindi maganda, mayaman, mahirap. Kapag ang puso tinamaan ka talaga maiinlove ka talaga, kahit 24/7 pa,” John adds.

Sam and Pokie’s episode is directed by Frasco Mortiz. Learn about the highs and lows of love in “24/7 In Love” coming to cinemas nationwide on November 21 (Wednesday).

Star Magic Ball 2012 Awards and Winners - KimXi, KathNiel, Gerald, Carmina and More!

The Star Magic Ball 2012 was held successfully Saturday night, September 1 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel gathering the country's brightest stars wearing their ball gowns and suits made by the Philippines' top fashion designers (Click here for the red carpet photos of stars in their ball gowns and suits).

Aside from the fab red carpet showcase, the night also celebrated Star Magic's 20 years of honing and polishing gems and its undisputed leadership in talent development. A night of performances, camaraderie and glam, the magic truly continues.

Ina, Kapatid, Anak tandem Kim Chiu and Xian Lim (KimXi) won the 'Couple of the Night' award while Princess and  I love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) took home the 'Breakout Style Award.' Teen star Julia Barretto and newbie Julian Estrada were hailed as 'Prince and Princess' of the night.
