Yeng Constantino and Enchong Dee – ‘Chinito’ Music Video Teaser

Star Recorsd has released a music video teaser for Yeng Constantino's single Chinito. The music video will feature Yeng with actor Enchong Dee.

The Chinito music video teaser highlights Yeng and Enchong's cool moves while dancing to the track. Somehow, the cute steps of the two gave them a spark of chemistry.

Chinito is a track written by Jed Dumawal and is part of Yeng's 5th studio album titled "Metamorphosis." The album features ten all-original tracks, nine of which are composed by Yeng including “Hahanapin Kita,” “Josephine,” “Messiah,” “Pasensya Na,” “Sana ‘Di Nangyari,” “Sana ‘Di Pa Huli,” Teleserye ang Pag-ibig” and the carrier single “B.A.B.A.Y.” (check out the music video here).

Four Sisters and A Wedding BTS Photos - Angel, Bea, Toni and Shaina Movie

Check out some of the behind-the-scenes photos from the upcoming Star Cinema movie with a working title Four Sisters and A Wedding starring Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga and Shaina Magadayao (Watch the full trailer here).

The said movie is directed by box-office director Cathy Garcia Molina and will also feature Enchong Dee and Ms. Coney Reyes. Vangie Labalan, Carmi Martin, Angeline Quinto and Sam Milby also have appearances on the movie. It will be the first movie offering this year celebrating the 20th anniversary of Star Cinema. 

In Four Sisters and A Wedding, Angel, Bea, Toni and Shaina, as well as Enchong will be playing the role of siblings with Coney Reyes as their mother. According to reports Four Sisters and A Wedding is a family dramedy (combination of drama and comedy).

'Muling Buksan Ang Puso' Trailer Released

The recent ABS-CBN trade launch on Tuesday unveiled the Kapamilya network's upcoming programs and perhaps the biggest of these shows is Muling Buksan Ang Puso topbilled by Julia Montes, Enrique Gil and Enchong Dee.

From the makers of phenomenal hit Walang Hanggan, the said teleserye also spans generations of actors. Featuring Ms. Susan Roces and Ms. Amalia Fuentes, as well as Dante Rivero, Dominic Ochoa, Daniel Fernando, Jane Oineza,  Matt Evans, Malou Crisologo, Pooh and Ms. Cherie Gil, Muling Buksan Ang Puso is set to be another big hit on TV.

Enchong Dee Joins 'Muling Buksan Ang Puso' Cast; Plays Triangle to Julia and Enrique

Actor Enchong Dee is now part of the biggest ABS-CBN teleserye this year, Muling Buksan Ang Puso. Enchong being part of the cast was revealed during the ABS-CBN 2013 trade launch on Tuesday.

In an interview, Enchong said that he was very grateful for having given another to chance to be part of one of the biggest teleseryes of ABS-CBN, coming from huge hit Ina Kapatid Anak to this new teleserye that is bound to be another Walang Hanggan.

"Sabi ko nga rare iyong pagkakataon na makatrabaho mo and dalawang movie queens. Ano ito, something I can be proud of as an artist, as a kapamilya na iilan lang kami na makatrabaho sabay ang dalawang movie queens."

Enchong was referring to Philippine movie queens Susan Roces and Amalia Fuentes, who will renew their rivalry in Muling Buksan Ang Puso. The series is Amalia's first ever teleserye. The show also stars Dante Rivero, Dominic Ochoa, Daniel Fernando, Jane Oineza, Matt Evans, Malou Crisologo, Pooh and Ms. Cherie Gil.

Enchong revealed that he is nervous working with Ms. Susan Roces and Ms. Amalia Fuentes in the said upcoming teleserye, having worked with the two veteran actresses for the first time.

Muling Buksan Ang Puso marks the first time that Enchong Dee will be working with Julia Montes and Enrique Gil in a soap. However, the three have already worked together in the films The Strangers and The Reunion. In the latter movie, Julia and Enrique were partners while Enchong was paired with Jessy Mendiola.

'Tuhog' Starring Eugene Domingo, Enchong Dee, Empress, Jake Cuenca and Leo Martinez Opens July 17

After the hilarious comedy Bromance: My Brother's Romance which will hit theaters on May 15, Skylight Films and Star Cinema proudly present Tuhog, a dark comedy movie starring Eugene Domingo, Enchong Dee, Jake Cuenca, Empress and Leo Martinez.

In Tuhog, Eugene Domingo plays the role of Fiesta, a bus barker who turned spinster out of dedication to take good care of his demented father. Her life changes after she met Nato (Jake Cuenca), a driver who won her heart but with a dark secret.

Leo Martinez is Tonio, a retired old man past his prime who risked his pension to fulfill his dream of becoming a baker. Meanwhile, Enchong Dee plays Caloy, a young man who vowed to preserve his virginity for his girlfriend Angel (Empress), who also agreed to give her virginity only to Caloy. However, long distance relationship and a new guy in Angel's life challenged Caloy's faithfulness to the said pact.

The title of the movie, Tuhog (which may sound erotic to some) stemmed from an accident which pierce three of the characters in a single steel bar. That mishap tied the lives of Fiesta (Eugene Domingo), Tonio (Leo Martinez) and Caloy (Enchong Dee) together. 

Who will be given another chance to live and make things right? And whose life is really bound to end? 

According to Eugene Domingo, Tuhog's script is one of the best she had read for a long time and given a chance to compete in international film festivals, the award-winning actress said that Tuhog's screenplay will have a good chance of winning.

Written by Veronica Velasco and Jinky Laurel and also directed by Veronica Velasco (Last Supper No. 3 which won Best Film in 2009 Cinemalaya), Tuhog will open in theaters July 17, 2013.

Julia Montes Debut: 18 Roses, 18 Treasures, 18 Tulips

Everything is set for the much awaited 18th birthday celebration of Julia Montes. Julia's debut will happen  on Tuesday, March 19 at the Fernwood Gardens in Quezon City.

According to reports, Julia's debut party will have a fairy tale theme, taking inspiration from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream featuring a carriage and castle. Julia will be Cinderella for the night, wearing a ball gown designed by Pepsi Herrera which she described as "puffy" with a "sweetheart cut."

Coco Martin, who is one of Julia's dances in the 18 roses, will be her escort in the debut. Enchong Dee, the debutante's former suitor is out of the "18 roses" ceremony since he can't attend the celebration due to a prior commitment.

Angel Locsin on Working with Angelica Panganiban Again: "Huwag muna natin pag-usapan"

Angel Locsin avoids discussing her alleged rift with One More Try co-star Angelica Panganiban. The two-time Star Awards for Movies Best Actress however denied that the said rift was the reason why Angelica Panganiban is no longer part of their supposed film with Bea Alonzo and Toni Gonzaga which starts shooting soon.

"Naisip ko nga no, parang nagkaron nga ng kulay ngayon. Pero hindi namin iniisip kasi hindi kami ganon magisip kapag may katrabaho ka. Basta kami masaya lang kami, excited lang kami na bigyan kami ng trabaho,” Angel told Push.com.ph.

The gap between Angel and Angelica allegedly stemmed from an incident while filming for their MMFF 2012 entry. Rumors said that Angel was badly hurt after Angelica slapped and pulled her hair in the movie's confrontation scene.

Angel told the website that she and Angelica have not met until now and will not elaborate more about her working relationship with the Apoy Sa Dagat lead star since it will not do good on both parties.

When asked if she is willing to work with Angelica again, Angel replied: "Huwag na muna natin pagusapan."

Meanwhile, Angelica Panganiban was replaced by Shaina Magdayao in the upcoming Star Cinema movie. Enchong Dee will also be part of the movie. The cast had their story conference recently and Angel said she's very excited to start shooting for the film which will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

"Nung binabasa ko 'yung script, konsepto pa lang parang ang saya-saya panoorin. Makaka-relate ang mga tao. Ang magkakapatid kasi kahit gaano kaiba ang personalities, mayroon pa ring similarities. Paano kaya namin ito gagawin? Na-imagine ko na talaga. Ang ganda," she said.

ABS-CBN’s top caliber family drama series “Ina Kapatid Anak” continues to rule primetime TV as proven by the latest data from Kantar Media on Friday (December 21). 

The Kapamilya teleserye topbilled by Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador once again became the country’s no.1 overall top TV program with its 31.3% national TV ratings. It crushed its two rival teleseryes in GMA “Aso ni San Roque” and “Pahiram ng Sandali,” which only got 16.6% and 14.6% national TV ratings, respectively.

MMFF 2012 Awards Night: Angel Locsin and Nora Aunor in a Tight Race for Best Actress

Superstar Nora Aunor and award-winning actress Angel Locsin are in a neck-to-neck battle for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2012) Best Actress trophy. The awards night will happen Thursday, December 27 at the Meralco Theater.

Nora Aunor has been the front-runner to win Best Actress for her performance in Thy Womb as a Badjao midwife who is coping with her infertility by acting as a match-maker to his husband and the one that could give him a child. Ate Guy has won several accolades in international film festivals for the film and it would be safe to assume that she's a top contender for Best Actress in MMFF.

Meanwhile, One More Try lead actress Angel Locsin is also getting the Best Actress buzz for her role as Grace, a single mother who will do anything to save his ill child. Moviegoers who got to watch the film strongly believed that Angel's performance is worthy of an acting award.

Angelica Panganiban might also be up for the Best Actress trophy but if she will be nominated as Best Supporting Actress, she has it in the bag. For the Best Actor category, many said that it will be between Gov. E.R. Ejercito (Jeorge Estregan) of El Presidente, Dingdong Dantes of One More Try, Enchong Dee of The Strangers and Vice Ganda of Sisterakas.

We predict that it will be a tie between Nora Aunor and Angel Locsin for Best Actress and the other acting awards will be shared by the three movies One More Try, Thy Womb and El Presidente.

Directed by Lawrence Fajardo of the Cinemalaya 2012 Directors Showcase Best Film Posas (Shackled), The Strangers is said to be a movie about province tales on aswang and hunters. It is produced by Quantum Films in association with MJM Productions and released through Star Cinema.

Aside from Enchong, Julia and Enrique, The Strangers also stars JM de Guzman, Cherry Pie Picache, Janice De Belen, Johnny Revilla and Jaime Fabregas. It opens in cinemas December 25.

Ina Kapatid Anak Beats Pilot Episode of Pahiram ng Sandali in Nationwide TV Ratings

ABS-CBN’s top caliber family drama series, “Ina Kapatid Anak” topbilled by Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador trounced its newest rival program in GMA by almost 16 points.

Based on the data from Kantar Media on Monday (November 26), “Ina Kapatid Anak” garnered 32.9% national TV ratings, while the pilot episode of its latest competition “Pahiram ng Sandali” only got 17.5%. The Kapamilya series also ruled its timeslot last Friday (November 23) with 31.9% national TV ratings, or almost 14 points higher than the final episode of “Coffee Prince: Pinoy Version” which only got 18.2%.

Meanwhile, the plot of “Ina Kapatid Anak” continues to thicken now that Julio (Ariel Rivera) already found Teresa (Cherry Pie Picache). Will this be the start of more heated confrontations between their families? Will Teresa be forced to reveal Celyn’s (Kim) real identity or will she keep on hiding it?
