Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes Greet Each Other at Viva Party

Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes were caught on cam greeting each other during the 31st anniversary party of Viva Entertainment held Thursday, October 25. The said party also celebrated Viva big boss Vic del Rosario's birthday

The two Kapamilya stars were seen greeting each other (photo below) at a gathering of artists managed by the talent management outfit which handles both Sarah and Cristine's career.

It can be recalled that Sarah and Cristine were former rivals in love with Sarah Geronimo being pursued by actor Rayver Cruz who later on became Cristine Reyes' boyfriend. Sarah and Cristine also made headlines after a controversial spat over Rayver in 2010, when Cristine took to micro-blogging site Twitter to rant about a "drama princess," later on identified to be Sarah Geronimo.

Sarah and Cristine reportedly reconciled thereafter and were in good terms since then.

Cristine Reyes will now star opposite Gerald Anderson in the teleserye Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin set to air next year. For a time, Gerald Anderson was romantically linked to Sarah until the latter decided not to pursue the pop princess anymore which according to reports stemmed from strict rules of Mommy Divine, Sarah's mother.

'Ina Kapatid Anak' Premieres October 8, New Trailer Released

Maricel Soriano Stars With Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes in 'Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin'

Diamond star Maricel Soriano is back to the Kapamilya network and is set to star on ABS-CBN's upcoming  primetime teleserye Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin topbilled by Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Maricel Soriano admitted that she missed being with ABS-CBN and acting on television. The Diamond Star said she's also thrilled to be be working with young stars Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes on the upcoming series.

"Magandang project kasi. 'Yun ang pinag-usapan namin na gagawin ko so tapos na 'yung bakasyon ko. Nae-excite ako kasi isang (pagkakataon) ito na makakatrabaho ko ang mga young ones na alam ko ay mahuhusay sila," said Maria, as the Diamond Star is fondly called.

Maricel is also excited to be reunited with showbiz friends Tonton Gutierrez and Dina Bonnevie who will also be part of the series.

"Nae-excite ako at makakatrabaho ko ulit si Tonton at saka si Dina. Siyempre excited ako kasi matagal na kaming hindi nakakapagtrabaho. 'Yung huli namin ang tagal na kaya balik tambalan ulit," she said.

Aside from Gerald, Cristine, Tonton, Dina and Maricel, Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin also stars new kapamilya Diana Zubiri and Cristine's boyfriend, Rayver Cruz.

ABS-CBN released the full trailer and official poster of the most-awaited teleserye on primetime today, Ina Kapatid Anak. Topbilled by four of the hottest actors of this generation — Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Maja Salvador and Enchong Dee — Ina Kapatid Anak is another phenomenal teleserye up for viewers.

Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador, Rivals in 'Ina Kapatid Anak'

Primetime princesses Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador are both excited to share with the TV viewers their newest top caliber family drama series titled “Ina Kapatid Anak” that is set to premiere in ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida on October.

“Everything is here–it’s a story about family, friendship and sisterhood,” said Kim, who will portray the role of the poor but optimistic young girl named Celine. “In our teleserye, the audience will learn how to value their families and how to achieve their dreams.”

Maja, on the other hand, will play the character of the rich and glamorous woman, Margaux. “All her things are glittering, but eventually the viewers will discover what’s really inside her mind and heart,” she related.

Contrary to their solid friendship off-cam, Kim and Maja’s fiercer roles in “Ina Kapatid Anak” will unravel an onscreen rivalry that everyone will surely be talking about.

Maja hinted that viewers should watch out if she will be a wicked bida-kontrabida in the story. “What’s interesting about Kim and I’s characters is that both Celine and Margaux are born fighters and they do not allow their families to be maltreated by anyone,” she shared.

Kim added that her role is totally new for her. “I’ve never done a character like Celine who’s so loud and talkative,” said Kim. “If in ‘My Binondo Girl’ I portrayed as a sweet at relatively well-off girl; here in ‘Ina Kapatid Anak,’ I am super poor.”

Aside from the highly anticipated confrontation scenes between Kim and Maja, TV viewers are even more excited with the two’s love interests in the story. In “Ina Kapatid Anak” Kim will be paired again with Xian Lim, while Maja will team up for the first time with Enchong Dee.

When asked if their fans can expect for some daring or love scenes from the two love teams, Kim simply answered, “So far, we’re just taping scenes where me and Xian’s characters are still teenagers. But I think later on, we’ll have something like that. Let’s just wait and see.”

Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes to Pair Up in a New TV Project?

After Kim Chiu and Sarah Geronimo, actor Gerald Anderson is said to be paired with Cristine Reyes in an upcoming teleserye of ABS-CBN.

According to a report from The Philippine Star, the management is considering a new onscreen team up between Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes. The two, according to the report, will star in Gerald's comeback teleserye after the advocacy series Budoy.

Gerald Anderson has been paired with Kim Chiu and Sarah Geronimo in a number of projects and with the rumors surfacing that the Sasa-Gege third movie has been shelved, the management could be on experimental phase to find Gerald another hit tandem. Sarah, on the other hand, resumed shooting with John Lloyd Cruz for their third movie.

The Philstar report said that Kimerald fans will be happy if ever Gerald will be paired with Cristine since the latter's boyfriend, Rayver Cruz is a close friend of Gerald. However, it will be unlikely that Ashrald fans will support the said tandem. It can be recalled that Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes had a previous rift over Rayver Cruz. 

Though the two had since reconciled, the upcoming Tinerald (Cristine-Gerald) love team may open a new chapter of issues between Sarah and Cristine, as the two may potentially share another leading man.

ASAP 2012 has launched another boy group that will surely bring 'kilig' every Sunday afternoon. The new boy group, called the ASAP POPables consisted of Gerald Anderson, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Rayver Cruz.

The ASAP POPables was also known as the Teleserye Princes which toured US with Pokwang. The four hot young men had real chemistry together, making the audience wild with their performances.

Enchong, Xian and Rayver will all be part of the upcoming teleserye, Ina, Kapatid, Anak which will also star Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador. Meanwhile, Gerald Anderson will be starring in an indie film entitled El Brujo with Tayong Dalawa co-star, Jake Cuenca.

Kapamilya actor Rayver Cruz topbills a heavy family drama episode of Maalala Mo Kaya this Saturday (May 19).

Rayver portrays the role of Xerces, a very obedient son who brought nothing but achievements to their family. As Xerces continued to excel in his life, his younger brother Ponso (Joseph Marco) had become his total opposite.

From childhood until they grew up, Xerces was always being praised while Ponso was always being belittled not just by the people around them but somehow, by Xerces as well. Until a day came when it was Ponso's time to give his 'Kuya' a lesson of life that cannot be learned from books.

Cristine Reyes Reviving Feud with Sarah Geronimo?

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig star Cristine Reyes might spark another war with the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo after her controversial revelations on the May 2012 issue of YES! Magazine (see what Cristine has to say on Sarah on the mag's cover).

In an interview with Yes! magazine, Cristine revealed that it wasn't Rayver who first broke Sarah's heart as the singer-actress first fell in and out of love with "a director and a star."

Cristine revealed:

"Do'n ako parang nabo-bother. Kasi, parang hindi niya naman first heartbreak si Rayver, pero binuhos niya lahat kay Rayver ang galit niya sa lalaki."

Cristine Reyes also backed Rayver on the two-timing issue and said that Rayver and Sarah broke up in the summer of 2010 while she and the actor became sweethearts on September of the same year.

Another big revelation of Cristine is that Sarah allegedly demanded that Rayver Cruz be taken out of any song-and-dance number in the ABS-CBN Sunday musical variety show, ASAP. 

Cristine dropped the bomb:

"Nag-break sila summer, naging kami September. Bakit noong  summer pa lang hindi siya naggagaganyan? No'ng naging kami, saka lang siya naggagaganyan? Di ba, parang ano ba yon? 

"So yon yung problema niya, hindi kami ang problema niya. Kasi, kaya ako nagalit, September naging kami na, December binibira-bira pa niya [ si Rayver] sa ASAP. Parang pinaparinggan sa microphone, ganyan-ganyan. Hindi ko na na-take yon, parang 'grabe ka na, sobra ka na.'' 

"Minsan nawala pa 'yan [Rayver] sa ASAP. Alam n'yo ba na ang nagpapakain sa family niya is ASAP, 'tapos 'papatanggal mo?"

With Cristine's frank statements, it will surely fire up another controversy between her and Sarah. What could be the Popstar Princess' answer to this revelations by Cristine?

Two hot and sizzling Kapamilya, Cristine Reyes and Xian Lim are on the cover of YES! Magazine's May 2012 issue.

Cristine Reyes will be opening her multi-million peso dream house to YES. According to the magazine, Cristine, "the sexy star that many like to see as 'the other woman' is actually a thrifty, hard-working, and God-fearing girl who cried herself to sleep during those nights the world was against her."

Cristine will talk about her past and present love - Dennis Trillo and Rayver Cruz - while she has a take on Sarah Geronimo's "sorry attitude."

Meanwhile, the magazine put the spotlight on Kapamilya hunk actor, Xian Lim as he is "standing out and standing tall."

Xian also confessed something about Kim inside the pages of YES. According to Xian, he's always gonna make sure that Kim is happy and always feeling special whenever he's with her. How about that revelation?

Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz Broke Up?

Is it true that Reputasyon couple Rayver Cruz and Cristine Reyes had already called it quits? Recently, rumors surfaced on the net about the break up of Rayver and Cristine. Although this is not yet confirmed, sources claimed that personality differences might be the possible reason for the rumored break up of these two Kapamilya stars.

According to PEP.ph, they tried to contact ABS-CBN Star Magic (Rayver's management company) but Star Magic said they have no idea about it and will later ask Rayver to confirm the issue.

Meanwhile, PEP also texted Cristine and after two hours, the Dahil Sa Pag-ibig actress replied:

"Ok naman po kami ni Rayver. Same pa rin. Wala naman pong issue na dapat pag-usapan... Haay kayo talaga hmp! J"

Based on Cristine's message, it seems that her relationship with her boyfriend is still ok, yet further explanations should be heard from the two to clarify the said issue. There's this saying, 'When there's smoke, there's fire.' 

Anyway, let's hope this rumor is not true. Both Rayver and Cristine had undergone so much for this relationship which for many is made to last.

'A Mother's Story' Starring Pokwang

Pokwang ventures into a heavy drama movie in her first starring role via A Mothers Story, a family drama film about an illegal immigrant in the United States and her struggles as she achieves legal status. The film deals with what the OFWs go through in the United States. This is the first film produced by The Filipino Channel and distributed by ABS-CBN International and Star Cinema. The film had its premiere in Los Angeles, CA on November 6, 2011 and was shown in selected US cities.
