The kapamilya network is planning to revive the hit tv drama 'Mula sa Puso' which is topbilled by Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo and the late Rico Yan. The drama series was so successful that it run for 2 years in television and also had its own movie remake produced by Star Cinema.
There were reports that ABS-CBN is now undergoing go-see for the new Via (Claudine), Michael (Diether) and Gabriel (Rico Yan). It was also speculated that the remake will be helmed again by its original director, Wenn Deramas.
With the success of the 'Mara Clara' remake starring Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo, ABS-CBN was inspired to do another remake which will bring the hit kapamilya series to the new generation of viewers.
If this project will push through, it will relive the memories of the late Rico Yan as well as the kapamilya moments of Claudine which already transferred to GMA Network.
