'Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo' Extended!

ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Gold program Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo is extended according to lead star Jake Cuenca. The afternoon series had recently beaten rival program in the nationwide ratings as more explosive scenes unfold.

In an interview with ABS-CBN news at the Gawad Urian Awards, Jake Cuenca said that the management has decided to extend the show due to public demand. Jake was nominated as Best Supporting Actor for In The Name of Love for which he bagged a Star Award.

Jake said that he is unaware on when the series will end as he expressed how happy he was for the good news.
"Sa totoo lang kahit ako hindi ko alam kung kailan matatapos. Ang pagkakasabi sa amin ay in-extend kami dahil gustong-gusto nila. So tuwang-tuwa kami doon kasi sobrang malapit sa puso namin ang proyektong ito. Kasi sa proyektong ito ay sobrang totoong istorya at 'yung binibigay mo sa character. Ang dami mong sinasakripisyo emotionally, draining siya."
Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo, dubbed as an OFW-serye tackles the life of overseas Filipino workers in Doha, Qatar. It also stars Shaina Magdayao and Bangs Garcia.

Jake Cuenca will also be busy with ABS-CBN's newest teleserye Kahit Puso'y Masugatan together with Andi Eigenmann, Iza Calzado and Gabby Concepcion.

Aside from these two projects, he will also reunite with Tayong Dalawa co-star Gerald Anderson in an indie film entitled El Brujo, a film by acclaimed director Tikoy Aguiluz.
