ABS-CBN’s newest fantaserye “Little Champ” claimed an early ratings lead as more viewers nationwide tuned in to its pilot week.
Based on data from Kantar Media, its pilot episode last Monday (March 18) registered a national TV rating of 17%, or six points higher than rival program “Smile Donghae” of GMA 7, which only got 10.6%.
Watch out for more exciting scenes next week as veteran actor Lito Lapid makes his anticipated appearance and portrayal as Amang Leon. What will be his role in Caloy (JB Agustin) and Chalk’s life?
Caloy and her mother Helen (Lara Quigaman) are also bound to face the toughest challenge in their lives when the ship they are in will sink. Amidst the panic and terror, the two will get separated but Chalk will be able to save his best friend Caloy.
How will Caloy get on with his life with only Chalk by his side? What trials are waiting for them?
The program’s pilot week introduced viewers to the unusual friendship of Caloy (JB Agustin) and his best friend, a horse named Chalk, and the challenges Caloy’s family has had to face when Miguel (Jake Roxas) blamed the death of his son on Caloy.
