Don Michael Perez The Voice of the Philippines I'm Yours Performance | 4-Chair Turn

Another artist achieved a 4-chair turn in The Voice of the Philippines Sunday night (June 30) in the person of Don Michael Perez, a 22-year-old former music student from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Myk Perez of The Voice of the Philippines

Myk Perez performed Jason Mraz's I'm Yours which he dedicated to his mom who passed away in 2010. A former student at the University of Sto. Tomas Conservatory of Music, Myk gave up his studies for his mother’s chemotherapy treatment.

Don Michael Perez's Blind Auditions marked the first time that the coaches went the farthest in recruiting an artist. Though Myk admitted that he had a crush on coach Sarah, he chose to be with the team of his idol Bamboo.

Aside from Myk, three other artists advanced to the battle rounds on the 6th episode of The Voice PH. They were Hans Dimayuga (Team Sarah), Cara Manglapus (Team Apl) and the father and son duo, Willy and Mark Cordovales (Team Bamboo).
