The country's number 1 and Twitter-trending singing-reality show The Voice of the Philippines registered its lowest rating of 23.6% on Saturday (August 10).
The Voice of the Philippines was pitted against the semis game of Gilas Pilipinas and South Korea which got 14.5%, the highest it got so far in weekend primetime. Viewers were obviously torn between the historic game and The Voice PH.
Meanwhile, Maalaala Mo Kaya of Meg Imperial and Bryan Santos beat the Charice Pempengco story featured in Magpakailanman (33.0% versus 17.3%). MMK is still the number 1 show every Saturday.
