The Voice of the Philippines Live Shows (September 1) Results: Angelique, Tristhan, Yuki, Diday Eliminated

The second live show of The Voice of the Philippines happened September 1 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila. The second batch of three artists from each team performed live for a shot to the next level of competitions.

Team Bamboo's Angelique Alcantara lingered on Join the Club's Nobela, the only OPM song of the night. Heartthrob Paolo Onesa made the fan girls swoon with his take on You Give Me Something by James Morrison while Isa Fabregas kept it simple with You've Got A Friend, the award-winning song of James Taylor and Carole King. Team Sarah's Yuki Ito delivered on the American classic A Song For You by Andy Williams. Fan favorite Klarisse de Guzman transformed for Beggin' popularized by Madcon. Maki Ricafort channeled former band South Border in his Without You number, a song recorded by Charlie Wilson for his 2nd studio album. Team Apl's Penelope Matanguihan put her R&B flavor on John Legend's exquisite ballad Ordinary People. Tristhan Perfecto once again dared on Bruno Mars' songbook, performing the soul and pop ballad When I Was Your Man. Vocal powerhouse Janice Javier belted R.
