For the Top 8 duets, Colton Dixon and Skylar Laine performed Islands in the Stream originally by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Hollie and DeAndre did their version of The Pointer Sisters’ I’m So Excited. Phillip and Elise take on Stop Dragging My Heart Around by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty while Jessica and Joshua closed out the duets with Aretha Franklin and George Michael's I Knew You Were Waiting For Me.
