ABS-CBN's It's Showtime Intertown Edition grand finals happened April 28 and BACOLOD MASSKARA from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental was hailed as the 5th Showtime grand champion and the first in its Inter-town edition.

The group from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental showed a spectacular performance that we Filipinos can be proud of. Bacolod Masskara brought the Masskara Festival inside the Showtime studio and the engaging performance of the group was also complemented by an equally amazing performance and overwhelming support from their hometown in Bacolod.
Eight groups representing different municipalities and cities from all over the Philippines vied for the title of It's Showtime: The Finals Inter-town Edition Grand Champion. They are the Amazing Paper Dolls (Olongapo City, Zambales), Tiklad (San Pablo, Laguna), Infinite Reform (Taytay, Rizal), Bacolod Masskara (Bacolod City, Negros Occidental), Lahing Anda (Anda, Pangasinan), Dumaguete’s Pride (Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental), Next Level Octomix (Caloocan City), and wildcard winner La Castellana Bailes de Luces (La Castellana, Negros Occidental).

2. Lahing Anda (Anda, Pangasinan) - 9.9

The It's Showtime Inter-town grand winner, Bacolod Masskara will take home P3 million, P2 million for the group and P1 million for the city or town they represent.
