Actor Xian Lim surprised leading lady Kim Chiu in yet another romantic gesture on her birthday last April 19. Xian, who is very vocal with his intentions with Kim gave the actress a tree of roses as a surprise gift.

During their story conference for their newest series, Ina, Kapatid, Anak, Kim revealed how the sweet gestures of Xian made her smile on her birthday.
Kim narrated:
“Noong birthday ko nasa bundok ako, wala akong signal, nagsu-shooting ako ng The Healing. Nung umuwi ako sa bahay, sa sala may puno ng flowers na naka-heart shape.”
“Sabi ko sa mga kapatid ko, ‘Kanino galing ‘to?’ Sabi nila, ‘Di namin alam.’ Bigla siyang [referring to Xian] tumawag at nag-text kasi sinabihan siya ng mga kapatid ko na nasa house na ako.”
“Red roses, ang dami-dami! Na-appreciate ko naman. Siyempre nakakagulat na may puno sa sala ng bahay ko. Nakakatuwa.”
It can be recalled that Xian once surprised Kim during their shoot for My Binondo Girl with Xian hiring a choir to serenade Kim (read story here).
Xian said it makes him happy seeing Kim smile. His romantic gestures, according to Xian were not something that's read from books but something that inspired by the heart.
With the sweetness the two were showing with each other, we cannot help but ask what's the real score between them. In fact, Xian and Kim go out together with Kim's sisters, who are also Xian's textmates. Kim has also met Xian's mother.
Kim said that their status need not any label and they are not into that status of exclusively dating. They just go out on friendly dates together with Kim's sisters.
“Hindi na kailangan ng label. Sa ngayon, labas-labas [lang kami].”
Xian agreed with Kim and said, “Hindi naman natin kailangan lagyan ng label but yes, we’re having fun every time we see each other. I’m happy and I hope she’s happy also.”
