Actress Cristine Reyes made a public apology to her sister Ara Mina on The Buzz, June 24. Cristine and Ara had a rift months ago with the latter filing a libel and grave coercion case against Cristine (read story here).
In a live interview with The Buzz on Sunday, Cristine aired her sincere apology to sister Ara Mina.
“I’m sorry and I would like to apologize if ever I offended you, sumama ang loob mo sa akin. I tried my best na pumunta sa iyo, alam mo iyan ate. Sinabi ko pa iyan sa ‘yo na kung gusto mo luluhod ako sa harapan mo. Sana lumambot na ang puso mo sa akin para maayos na itong gulo, para tahimik na, para sa ikakatahimik ng pamilya natin.”
Ara demanded through a counter-affidavit that Cristine make a public apology before she seat in a reconciliation talk with her younger sister (read Ara's statement here).
Cristine is hopeful that she can iron out things with sister Ara for the sake of their mother. Cristine admitted her wrong and said that the rift with Ara is a learning experience for her.
“Sa lahat ng experiences, troubles, problems sa buhay, na-realize ko na huwag tayong susuko. Bawat problema, may natututunan ako. Doon ako tumitibay. Kasama siya sa buhay talaga eh. Boring ang buhay kapag walang problema, lahat tayo dumadaan diyan.”
