ABS-CBN has released the full trailer of the upcoming 2013 teleserye Apoy Sa Dagat starring Angelica Panganiban, Piolo Pascual and Diether Ocampo.
Coming from Rubi where Angelica portrayed a bida-kontrabida role, Apoy Sa Dagat poses another challenge to the actress as she plays a dual role—the protagonist Serena and the antagonist Rebecca.
In Apoy, Serena as a child drifts off from a ship accident at sea to a fishing village, where she takes on a new name and grows up with her best friend Ruben (Piolo Pascual). As Serena pursues her dreams in the city, she meets Rebecca, with whom she will share the man she loves.
Also starring Angel Aquino, Sylvia Sanchez, Liza Lorena, Nikki Gil, Empress and Patrick Garcia, and directed by F.M. Reyes and Nick Olanka, Apoy Sa Dagat premieres February 2013 as part of ABS-CBN's first quarter offering.
