ABS-CBN has already revealed the huge project Ikaw Lamang that will feature together for the first time the tandem of Drama King Coco Martin and Teleserye Princess Kim Chiu. Aside from the two, the upcoming teleserye will also have Julia Montes and Jake Cuenca.
The look test for Ikaw Lamang happened Monday and photos of the main characters have been released (CLICK HERE to see the character photos). Based on the teaser photos, both Coco and Julia will play roles with social status opposite to that of Kim and Jake.
According to reports, this is Kim's most challenging role to date where she will be pitted against some of the most respected actors in the industry. Aside from Coco, Julia and Jake, the cast also includes John Estrada, Cherry Pie Picache, Tirso Cruz III, Cherie Gil, Angel Aquino, Ronaldo Valdez, Daria Ramirez, Meryl Soriano, Spanky Manikan and Lester Llansang.
Described by Dreamscape Entertainment as a once in a lifetime TV event, Ikaw Lamang is an epic love story that will transcend boundaries, be it status or time.
Directed by Malu Sevilla and Avel Sunpongco (who both helmed Coco's Juan dela Cruz), this period action-drama is slated to premiere this March on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
