'Wansapanataym' Beats Newest Rival 'Vampire and Daddy Ko' Nationwide

ABS-CBN’s award-winning fantasy-drama anthology “Wansapantaym” continues its winning streak as it recently won in the ratings game over GMA’s newly launched sitcom. 

According to the latest data from Kantar Media, “Wansapanataym” last Saturday (March 16), Zaijian Jaranilla’s ‘Hungry Games’ episode garnered 28.1% national TV ratings, compared to its newest rival program “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko” which only got 15.6%.

Meanwhile, “Wansapantaym” will teach kids this Saturday (March 23) the importance of education via its episode titled ‘No Read, No Write Nomar.’ Zaijian takes on the role of Nomar, a kid who takes his studies for granted due to his dream to become a good dancer. 

Because of his ambition, a scientist gives Nomar a magic potion that will give him the ability to become an amazing dancer. Will Nomar finally prioritize his education when he discovers that he can no longer read and write because of the potion?

Together with Zaijian in the ‘No Read, No Write Nomar’ episode are Lito Pimentel, Assunta de Rossi, and Archie Alemania. It was written by Rhoda Sulit and directed by Tots Sanchez-Mariscal.

Aiko Melendez and Joey Marquez Topbill MMK Christmas Episode (Dec 22)

Aiko Melendez and Joey Marquez topbill the Christmas episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (December 22) as they portray the roles of husband and wife Persie and Cristy who loved each other so much that Persie accepted his wife’s past which involved having a son with her first husband. 

They almost had a perfect family life with their three sons until a disagreement led them to decide to go on with their lives separately. How will their children mend the broken relationship of their parents? Will their sons be enough reason to bring back the love of Persie and Cristy for each other? 

Together with Aiko and Joey in “MMK” this Saturday are Aaron Junatas, John Manalo, Deydey Amansec, Joe Gruta, Ama Quiambao, Archie Alemania, Yda Yaneza, and Pocholo Montes. 'Slumber Party' Official Trailer (Starring Markki Stroem, Archie Alemania, RK Bagatsing)

Mending a broken heart, Elle and Jhana consoles their friend, Phillippe, as his romance with his recent guy was tragically and abruptly nipped in the bud. However, the supposedly fun spectacle for the three was cut-short when, Jonel, a young frat boy burgled the three lovely ladies’ castle. Afraid and petrified, they attacked the frat boy who became unconscious. This gave the three a time to marvel at the young frat boy’s enigmatic boyish looks and amusing hot body. As they go on with their fantasies, the decision to keep the guy with arms and legs tied in the chair and hold him hostage will challenge their views on life, love and friendship all in one night. Set on the eve of Aug 23, 2010 of the new Noynoy administration when 2 "MAJOR MAJOR" events are underway: the heated bus hostage-taking of HK nationals in Quirino Grand Stand, and Phil. Candidate Ms. Venus Raj pressured to bring home the coveted crown to vindicate her country mired in shame in the international community.

MMK 'Cursed Beauty' Episode Starring Jane Oineza Finally Airs this June 30

ABS-CBN was finally given the go-signal by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to air the controversial Maalaala Mo Kaya episode that deals with the story of a teenage girl who was repeatedly raped, once even at the sight of her own mother. The episode will air this Saturday (June 30).

From the previously obtained X-rating, the ‘Cursed Beauty’ episode was granted by the MTRCB with a rating of ‘SPG’ or ‘strong parental guidance.’ The ‘SPG’ rating was given to the show after being thoroughly reviewed by the agency since its June 2 airing was postponed.

Former Goin’ Bulilit child star Jane Oineza portrays the 15-year-old girl named Nene who was recurrently raped by her stepfather. But her world drastically changed when her mother even assisted her live-in partner in the act of rape. Since then, Nene cursed the ‘beauty’ that she possesses. How can someone who lost her self-respect regain her love for herself?
