'A Beautiful Affair' Grand Fans Day at SM Skydome this November 25

John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, and the rest of the cast of A Beautiful Affair give its fans back-to-back treats in the top-rating Kapamilya teleserye’s Grand Fans Day on Sunday (Nov 25), 4 p.m. at the SM City North Edsa Skydome.

Bond with the cast and enjoy a day of entertainment and fun-filled activities, including the launch of the much-awaited A Beautiful Affair official soundtrack (OST) under Star Records. The teleserye’s theme song “After All” performed by Martin Nievera and Vina Morales with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra is the soundtrack’s carrier single.

John Lloyd and Bea also sing for the very first time “Naaalala Ka,” a track from the A Beautiful Affair OST that is currently available at Astroplus outlets nationwide. Each album purchased at Astroplus entitles a buyer to two tickets for the Fans Day which can be redeemed at Skydome’s ticket booth. Also performing at this special one-time event are Kapamilya artists Yeng Constantino, Richard Poon, and Liezel Garcia who are featured in the soundtrack.

The Grand Fans Day also marks the launch of John Lloyd & Bea: A Starstudio Special, an exclusive edition of the magazine that traces the John Lloyd-Bea love team’s ten colorful years with never-before-seen photos and special features. The story revolves around Jane (Kathryn) in her search for answers on 'What will people do before the world ends?' to be her video entry to win tickets to the concert of her her ultimate crush, Billy Fernandez (Daniel).  In her quest to find the answers to her question, she met different people who will tell her how powerful true love can be. Among them were a 40-year old virgin named Virgie (Pokwang) who will meet a gigolo Charles (Sam Milby); the hopeless romantic secretary Barbara (Maja) helping his boss Ken (Diet) with personal issues; Verna (Angel) who went to vacation in Vietnam and will meet a waiter Elvis (John Lloyd); Belle (Bea) who is in love with gay best friend Butch (Zanjoe); a 35 year old mentally challenged Mike (Piolo) with child stars Zaijan & Xyriel; and an active account executive Patty ( Kim) who wanted to get Alvin (Gerald) as a model for their company.

A Beautiful Affair Pilot Beats Temptation of Wife in TV Ratings Nationwide!

Television viewers and netizens nationwide received with open arms the sweeping romantic teleserye A Beautiful Affair topbilled by John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, and John Estrada as proven by the success of its pilot episode Monday (Oct 29) night on ABS-CBN.

Based on data from Kantar Media, the newest program on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida garnered a national TV rating of 25.3%, or ten points higher than the pilot episode of rival GMA’s Temptation of Wife, which only got 15.5%.

Netizens on micro-blogging site Twitter also fell in love with the engaging mix of “kilig,” drama, and humor in the said episode of A Beautiful Affair that traced the friendship of Edward (John) and Leon (John Lloyd), the tragic death of Leon’s mother, and the first encounter of Leon and Gen (Bea) in Austria.

Many also noted the teleserye’s brilliant cinematography and movie-like quality, the fast-paced unfolding of past and present events, and the blazing chemistry of the country’s most beautiful love team.

A Beautiful Affair Premieres October 29, Main Plot Revealed

Ten years after their successful debut on primetime television, John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo reunite in a mature love story that tackles the dilemma of choosing between love and loyalty in A Beautiful Affair which premieres on October 29 on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.

Spicing up this sweeping romantic teleserye is actor John Estrada, who stars in his biggest drama series to date. The much-awaited series is one of the highlights of the tenth anniversary celebration of the most successful team of their generation.

Follow the love story of three people who will each face the toughest obstacles in a relationship and will be forced to make a choice between steadfast loyalty and passionate love.

Leon Riego (John Lloyd), a brilliant architect and Gen Saavedra (Bea), an heiress, first meet in Austria as two broken souls. Their mutual attraction will temporarily unburden them of their respective miseries – Leon from the guilt brought by the death of his adoptive mother, and Gen who is trying to move on from the betrayal of a former lover.

Together, they wind up spending the time of their lives by getting on a romantic escapade to Vienna and Salzburg. In each other’s pains they find strength, and in each other’s bitterness they find love.

Despite the undeniable attraction between them, they decide to part ways and fix their lives before choosing to love again.

A Beautiful Affair takes full circle with the return of the people who first brought John Lloyd and Bea’s love team to the small screen—now business unit head Laurenti Dyogi and now director Katrina Flores. Dyogi was the director of the love team’s first teleserye, the highly acclaimed and top-rating Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, while Flores was the headwriter.

ABS-CBN released a final full traielr for the upcoming teleserye A Beautiful Affair topbilled by John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. The said trailer revealed the past of John Lloyd Cruz's character (Leon) from his childhood until he became an architect.

The trailer also followed Leon to Vienna where he met Bea Alonzo's character (Gen). A broken soul (Leon) had a beautiful affair with the brokenhearted (Gen) back then. However, when they return to the country, Gen will be committed to Leon's adoptive brother and mentor, Edward (John Estrada).

The Mistress Grosses P254.85 Million in 4 Weeks - Box Office Mojo

Star Cinema's The Mistress starring John Loyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo grossed P254.85 million in 4 weeks according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). The Mistress is currently the third highest grossing film of all time and is now on a bid to dethrone No Other Woman in second place.

Meanwhile, Aga Muhlach and Regine Velasquez's reunion movie, Of All The Things raked in P21.37 million at the box office in  matter of two weeks. 

This Guy's In Love With You Mare box office gross is expected to follow that of The Mistress considering the trend in cinemas. The Vice-Toni-Luis triangle film had grossed P23 million on its opening day according to Star Cinema, same with the first day gross of The Mistress.
