Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla Face the End of the World Together

Philippine showbiz’s teen king and queen, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, along with some of today’s finest Star Magic talents, find themselves posed with the question “What would you want to do before the world ends?”, putting their hearts to the test in their hit movie together, “24/7 in Love”, which is set to air this Sunday (September 22) on Cinema One.

An end of the world prediction based on the Mayan calendar causes panic worldwide. In line with this, a young student named Jane (Kathryn Bernardo) comes up with an idea for a video project that she wants to submit in order to win a VIP pass to her ultimate crush’s concert. Being a huge fan of the young actor Billy Fernandez (Daniel Padilla), she decides to circle the city, asking people what they’d do if it were the end of the world.

As she goes around to meet different people, she discovers different love stories that are taking place all around the world, making her cross paths with characters that form a star-studded cast including Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson, Maja Salvador, Sam Milby, Zanjoe Marudo, Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, Angelica Panganiban, Kim Chiu and Diether Ocampo.

Directed by John Lazatin, Mae Czarina Cruz, Frasco Mortiz and Dado Lumibao from Star Cinema, “24/7 in Love” brought together an ensemble to celebrate Star Magic’s 20th anniversary. It has been said to be able to cover love in all forms with its stellar cast of some of the biggest and brightest stars in Philippine cinema today.

24/7 in Love Grosses P75.05 M in 3 Weeks; D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers Hits P32.26 M in 2 Weeks - Box Office Mojo

Star Magic's 20th anniversary movie offering, 24/7 in Love had grossed P75.05 million after 3 weeks of showing in theaters according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). The movie is topbilled by the biggest and brightest stars of ABS-CBN talent management arm—Star Magic.

Considering the movie being star-studded, a gross of less than a hundred million in three weeks time is considered a disappointment unlike other Star Cinema movies which breached the 100-million mark.

Meanwhile, another Pinoy movie, D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers Weh?!? starring the funny tandem of Jose and Wally with Pokwang and Solenn Heussaff made P32.26 million at the box office in two weeks time.

Star Cinema's 24/7 in Love had a running gross of P56.2 million on its second week of showing according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). The movie, which stars the biggest and brightest stars of ABS-CBN talent management arm Star Magic in celebration of it's 20th anniversary had grossed P33.25 million on its first week.

Meanwhile, D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers Weh?!? starring the funny tandem of Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, including sexy Solenn Heussaff and Pokwang grossed P14.4 million on its opening week.

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 after reigning for two consecutive weeks was dethroned by Rise of the Guardians during the period of November 28-December 2.
