Aiko Melendez, Sharlene San Pedro and John Manalo in MMK (January 18)

Award-winning actress Aiko Melendez will star in the upcoming family drama of ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” In the Raz de la Torre-directed episode, Aiko will play the role of Gloria, a devoted mother who was forced to abandon her kids to work in another town.

What did Gloria do that made her children hate her so much? Together with Aiko in the upcoming “MMK” episode are Sharlene San Pedro, Maliksi Morales, John Manalo, Ces Quesada, Cris Villanueva, Daisy Reyes, Amy Nobleza, Dexie Daulat and Tata Mara. 

The episode this Saturday (January 18) is written by Benson Logronio and Arah Jell Badayos, and researched by Mae Rose Balanay. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos, production manager Roda Dela Cerna, and executive producer Lindsay Anne Dizon.

Carmina Villaroel Topbills Wansapanataym 'Perfect Gift' Episode (December 1)

After getting her ‘perfect gift’ from her husband Zoren Legaspi through their grand mob wedding, seasoned actress and TV host Carmina Villaroel will give the TV viewers a special kind of present this Saturday (December 1) as she topbills the Christmas countdown special of ABS-CBN’s top-rating fantasy-drama anthology “Wansapantaym.”

In an episode titled ‘Perfect Gift,’ Carmina will give life to the role of Joanna, a woman who did not experience a beautiful childhood. Because of her parents’ shortcomings when she was still young, Joanna did everything while growing up so she can to give everything that her son asks for. Despite of the expensive toys and clothes that she has provided, will Joanna realize the greater importance of giving time for her own son?

Together with Carmina in the ‘Perfect Gift’ episode Jeffrey Santos, Carlos Agassi, Yogo Singh, Janica Pareño, Harvy Bautista, and Dexie Daulat. It was written by Mariami Tanangco-Domingo and directed by Tots Sanchez-Mariscal.

Erich Gonzales and Diana Zubiri Topbill MMK this October 13

Before the release of her much talked about film “Suddenly It’s Magic,” where she is co-starred with Thai superstar Marior Maurer, ABS-CBN primetime princess Erich Gonzales will topbill “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (October 13) alongside Diana Zubiri and Patrick Garcia.

Erich will play the role of Merlie, the trusting younger sister of Yoli (Diana) who did everything that her ‘ate’ asked of her, including the idea of having a relationship with Ramon (Patrick) whom Merlie barely knew at all. Believing that Yoli’s intention for her was good and pure, Merlie followed Yoli, only to find out that she was just manipulated by her older sister.

How can betrayal and infidelity shatter the solid bond between sisters? Aside from Erich, Diana and Patrick, also part of the episode are Miles Ocampo, Mark Joshua Sayarot, Dexie Daulat, Juan Rodrigo, Raquel Montessa, and Wowie de Guzman. It was researched by Agatha Ruadap, written by Benson Logronio, and directed by Dado Lumibao.

Xyriel Manabat Leads The Race in Yahoo OMG! Awards 2012

Kapamilya child wonder Xyriel Manabat continues to impress TV viewers and netizens as she leads the online voting in ‘Yahoo! OMG! Awards 2012’ where she is nominated in the category, ‘Child Star of the Year.’ As of June 28 (Thursday), the Kapamilya child wonder garnered 56% or more than half of the online votes for the said category.

Meanwhile, Xyriel continues to reign in the hearts of TV viewers this Saturday (June 30) in the continuation of her “Wansapanataym” special. In the ‘Beauty is the Beast’ episode, Xyriel takes on the role of Beauty, a little girl who belittles everyone who doesn’t fit her beauty standards. As she continues to judge other people based on their physical appearances, fate punishes Beauty and made all her negative comments magically manifested on her. Will she finally learn that real beauty is not skin deep?

Together with Xyriel in the episode are Dominic Ochoa, Andrea del Rosario, Marikit Morales, Dexie Daulat, Beverly Salviejo, and Arlene Tolibas. It is written by Joel Mercado and directed by Tots Sanchez-Mariscal.
