FrancElla Regarded as Next KathNiel, Aryana Hits All-Time High 27.3% Rating

Kapamilya tween mermaid Ella Cruz has revealed that she is extremely flattered with the undying support of TV viewers in her top-rating Primetime Bida fantaserye “Aryana” as the show recently reached it all-time high national TV rating.

Based on the latest data of Kantar Media last Wednesday (October 3), “Aryana” clinched its highest national TV rating of 27.3% since it aired last May 2012. Its newest rival program in GMA “Moon Embracing The Sun” only registered 18.1% national TV rating.

Meanwhile, Ella also shared how overwhelmed she is with the clamor of fans that her love team with “Aryana” co-star Francis Magundayao is going to follow the sensational success of the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla tandem.

“It is good to hear that there is no competition happening,” said Ella. “It feels great when they say that we are going to be the next ‘KathNiel’ because their tandem is one of the best and popular love teams today.”

When asked why she thinks that TV viewers root for ‘Franc-Ella’ (Francis and Ella) love team, the Kapamilya primetime princess said that it maybe because of their great teamwork. “Francis and I always help each other to make our scenes beautiful. I also believe that avid fans fell in love with our tandem because Francis is a great actor.”

Ella Cruz Enjoys First 'Date' with Francis Magundayao

Primetime TV’s tween mermaid Ella Cruz reveals that she enjoyed the recently held Star Magic Ball 2012, where she was joined by her “Aryana” co-star Francis Magundayao.

“My first Star Magic Ball experience was really fun,” Ella said. “Francis and I became a lot closer with each other because of that date.”

When asked if her two other leading men Paul Salas and Dom Roque were jealous of Francis, Ella said that it was okay with them. “Dom and Paul understood my decision. Francis was my partner in the cotillion that is why I chose him to be my date in the ball,” Ella shared.

While a lot of fans are linking Ella to her three leading men, the Kapamilya primetime princess clarified that having a boyfriend is not yet on her mind. According to her, “My parents advised me that I should not rush into being in a relationship since I still have a lot of dreams to achieve.”

“The right time will come for those kinds of things. For now, I just want to focus on my studies and career, and not on love,” she said. “It’s something I want to share with young people like me that we should always prioritize our studies and reach for our dreams first before love.”

Francis Magundayao is Adrian in Aryana

After winning the hearts of TV viewers in his portrayal as the young Piolo Pascual in the drama series “Dahil sa Pag-ibig,” former child actor Francis Magundayao is now all set to make a big splash in ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida as he joins the cast of top-rating fantaserye “Aryana” as the new love team partner of Kapamilya tween mermaid Ella Cruz.

Ever since Francis and Ella were paired in “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” as the young Piolo and young Cristine Reyes, TV viewers have already noticed the remarkable onscreen chemistry between the two young stars. Paul Salas is Ella Cruz' Leading Man in 'Aryana'

Teen actor Paul Salas will be Ella Cruz' leading man in the upcoming ABS-CBN series Aryana. Ella Cruz will star as a teen mermaid in this newest fantaserye of the Kapamilya network.

Ella Cruz and Paul Salas had their ABS-CBN contract signing on the same date and these two teen stars are destined to be paired from that day on. 

Ella Cruz will be playing her first lead role after a well-praised performance as the teen Jasmin Valderama in Dahil Sa Pag-ibig. Meanwhile, Paul Salas had a starring role in Oka2kat which will have its last 3 weeks. He also appears as a guest on the hit Kapamilya situation comedy Toda Max as Pokwang's (Lady G) nephew.

With Ella and Paul as newest TV team up, what will happen now to the hype of the Francella team up from Dahil Sa Pag-ibig? Could Francis Magundayao be given another love team or will he be a surprise addition to the cast of Aryana?

Aryana is the tale of a typical teen-age girl if not for her magical fish tail that is triggered to existence when her legs come into contact with water. Ella Cruz Signs Exclusive Contract With ABS-CBN

Teen actress Ella Cruz who played the young Jasmin in the hit teleserye Dahil Sa Pag-ibig is now officially a Kapamilya!

Ella signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN yesterday, March 28. Present in the contract signing are ABS-CBN big bosses, President Charo Santos-Concio, Channel 2 Head Cory Vidanes and Entertainment Head Linggit Tan.

Ella is slated to do a Kapamilya fantaserye with a working title Aryana where she will play another mermaid role. Many fans hope that her Dahil Sa Pag-ibig leading man, Francis Magundayao will be part of this show. Unfortunately, there are reports that Francis is not included in Aryana and another Star Magic artist will play Ella's leading man.

Could Paul Salas (Oka2kat) be the Aryana leading man some blind items are referring to? Paul Salas also signed a contract with ABS-CBN the day Ella inked her deal. Was this a sign of a new TV team up?

Francella fans should work hard to promote Francis and Ella tandem so that the management will change their decision and push through with a show for Francella.

Francis Magundayao Stars in MMK this March 31 with John Manalo

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig wonder Francis Magundayao will star in an MMK episode together with John Manalo this March 31.

This will be the first time that John Manalo will be appearing on television drama after a long absence. He play the character Eris in the top-rating drama, Mara Clara. He is supposed to be casted in Luv U opposite Miles Ocampo. Maybe, there is a bigger role for him in the future that is why he is not included in the said project.

Meanwhile, this will be the first time that Francis Magundayao will topbill an MMK episode (even his first starring role in a drama anthology). I'm sure many fans are very excited to watch Francis' MMK episode. Francis gained a lot of following since he appeared in Dahil Sa Pag-ibig playing the young Alfred Valderama (Piolo Pascual) with Ella Cruz (young Jasmin). In fact, the two had already a huge fanbase  named Francella (Francis + Ella).

I hope this will be the start of a bigger future for Francis. The guy had a lot to offer in terms of acting, more so that he had established a 'kilig' team up with Ella Cruz (who will star in fantaserye Aryana) which seems so appealing to younger viewers.

Let's also wish John Manalo good fortune in his endeavour. This young fella from Goin Bulilit had evolved into a handsome young man now, so you should also watch out for him.
