KZ, Frenchie, Duncan, Nyoy and Sitti Try to Dethrone Bea Rose Santiago in Singing Bee

The pressure rises for Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago this Saturday (Jan 11) as OPM artists KZ Tandingan, Frenchie Dy, Duncan Ramos, Nyoy Volante, and Sitti Navarro try to steal her defending champion title in “The Singing Bee.”

Will Bea able to defend her championship? Since Bea won a month ago, she’s already brought home a total of P100,000 in cash prizes. Who will face her in the final round? Will one of them win the coveted P1 million jackpot prize? To ease the tension a bit, the five contestants will give their respective ‘sample-sample’ performances.

I Do Bidoo Bidoo Cinema Trailer Released!

The cinematic trailer for the upcoming musical comedy movie I Do Bidoo Bidoo has been released. The said movie features the hit songs of OPM legend APO Hiking Society.

Starring Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Eugene Domingo, Ogie Alcasid, Sam Concepcion and introducing Tippy Dos Santos, I Do Bidoo Bidoo will hit theaters this August 29.

I Do Bidoo Bidoo tells the story of young lovers who are about to get married but are torn by their families’ differences. It's the Polotans versus the Fuentebellas in this uniquely feel-good film packed with singing and dancing (read more about the plot here).

Also starring Neil Coleta, Frenchie Dy, Sweet Plantado, Jaime Fabregas, Kiray Celis and Gerald Pesigan, I Do Bidoo Bidoo is directed by the Chris Martinez under Unitel Pictures and Studio 5.

Every Breath You Take Grosses P10 Million on It's First Day!

Star Cinema's 19th anniversary opening salvo, Every Breath You Take starring Piolo Pascual and Angelica Panganiban has grossed P10 million on its first day according to the film outfit.


Every Breath You Take's 1st day gross of P10 million is the second-highest opening gross among local films produced this year with Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz' Unofficially Yours taking the top spot with an opening gross of P18.5 million.

Under the direction of Mae Cruz, Every Breath U Take tells the story of a woman longing to fall in love and a man who takes love easily. In the movie, Piolo plays the role of the playboy Leo who will fall in love with Angelica's virginal character named Majoy.

Also starring Carlos Agassi, Ryan Eigenmann, Smokey Manaloto, Ketchup Eusebio, Joross Gamboa, Janus del Prado,Wendy Valdez, Regine Angeles, Cacai Bautista, Frenchie Dy, and Ms. Nova Villa and introducing Ryan Bang and with special participation of Dominic Ochoa and Lito Legaspi, Every Breath You Take is still showing in theaters nationwide.

Star Cinema has just released an exclusive web trailer for its 19th anniversary opening salvo, Every Breath You Take. The movie stars two of the hottest and versatile actors of Philippine cinema, Piolo Pascual and Angelica Panganiban under the direction of Mae Czarina Cruz.
