71st Golden Globe Awards 2014 Winners

The 71st annual Golden Globe Awards was held January 12, 2014 (Monday morning in Manila) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, LA, California. Golden Globes 2014 was again hosted by the funny tandem of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Leonardo Di Caprio won Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for the movie The Wolf of Wall Street while Amy Adams and co-star Jennifer Lawrence took the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress award, respectively for American Hustle. 

Meanwhile, Mathew McConaughey and Cate Blanchett won the Best Actor and Actress awards in the Drama category for their movies Dallas Buyers Club and Blue Jasmine, respectively.

Golden Globe Awards 2013 Winners

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards happened January 13 (January 14 MLA time) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, LA, California. The event was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who were both nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, but lost out to Lena Dunham of "Girls."


Ben Affleck won Best Director for "Argo" which is also hailed as Best Picture (Drama). Affleck, however is snubbed in the Oscar Awards, being not nominated in the Best Director category.

70th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2013) NominationsCheck out the list of nominees for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2013). Lincoln led the pack with seven nominations, followed by Django Unchained and Argo with five apiece. Zero Dark Thirty and Les Miserables earned four.

Organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the awards night will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 13, 2012, to be hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
