Queen of all media Kris Aquino revealed that she can't help but cry seeing the photos of her two sons Josh and Bimby with her ex-husband, basketball superstar James Yap.

On Aquino and Abunda Tonight Monday, Kris said that James also texted her on Valentines to say happy birthday and express his gratitude to Kris for being the best mom for Bimby. 

James Yap spent his birthday with Josh and Bimby while Kris went to Singapore on purpose to give James all the time he wanted to be with his son. Watch the video below:

James Yap on Kris Aquino Defending Him: 'Salamat. Nagulat ako, anong meron?'

Basketball star James Yap was surprised upon learning that ex-wife Kris Aquino defended her from allegations of game fixing during the semifinals game 6 between his team San Mig Coffee Mixers and Ginebra San Miguel on Monday (read story here).

In her nightly talk show with Boy Abunda Aquino and Abunda Tonight on Tuesday, Kris Aquino came to the defense of James Yap following the said allegations.

"Sa matagal na panahon na nakilala ko si James Yap at nakilala ko ang buong pagkatao n'ya, hindi n'ya gagawin na magbenta ng laro dahil buong buhay n'ya, binuhos n'ya for that," Kris said.

"He's gonna love me for this. Matutuwa s'ya dito sa sinasabi ko'ng 'to," Kris added before wishing James good luck for the Game 7 of the PBA semifinals against Ginebra on Wednesday. The said game was eventually won by the team of James.

In an interview with Spin.ph, James thanked Kris for the surprise gesture. "Ah, thank you at pinagtanggol niya (Kris) ako," James said. "Nagulat ako (sa gesture ni Kris), anong meron?"

Meanwhile, in an interview aired on Aquino and Abunda Tonight Thursday, James said that he was not expecting that Kris would defend him. He also thanked his ex-wife and greeted Kris a happy birthday. The Queen of all media is celebrating her birthday today, February 14.

When told that Kris has suitors now, James just quipped, "Ah, talaga? Good."

Meanwhile. Kris said that her family was also surprised in what she did. Her sisters, according to the host, told her that she has matured as a person.

Kris Aquino Defends James Yap Against Malicious Allegations (Video)

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino defended ex-husband James Yap over allegations that the San Mig Coffee Mixers player sold the Game 6 of their semifinals game versus Ginebra San Miguel on Monday.

"Sa matagal na panahon na nakilala ko si James Yap at nakilala ko ang buong pagkatao n'ya, hindi n'ya gagawin na magbenta ng laro dahil buong buhay n'ya, binuhos n'ya for that," Kris said talking on her newest show Aquino and Abunda Tonight.

"He's gonna love me for this. Matutuwa s'ya dito sa sinasabi ko'ng 'to," Kris added before wishing James good luck for the Game 7 of the PBA semifinals against Ginebra this Wednesday.

Atty. Lorna Kapunan Withdraw as Napoles Lawyer due to Death Threats

Atty. Lorna Kapunan shares with Anthony Taberna that receiving numerous death threats urged her to beg off as Janet Lim Napoles’ legal counsel for her illegal detention case.

“They thought I can convince the client to speak out the truth. The others were afraid of what she might be able to expose. So if they can’t threaten the client, they threaten the lawyer,” Kapunan said in her interview in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (Nov 21).

Aside from alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Napoles’ case, Kapunan also handled several controversial cases including those that involved celebrities like Rhian Ramos, James Yap and Hayden Kho.

Tunying also goes face-to-face with another prominent criminal lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio. Despite his long list of clients that includes showbiz personalities, politicians, and public interest groups, Topacio reveals that his ultimate dream is to become President Noynoy Aquino’s legal counsel.

“At the end of President Aquino’s term, he’ll be facing lots of legal woes. If he’ll trust me, I will certainly defend him though I am one of his critics,” Topacio said.

Topacio also recounts the Dacer-Corbito double murder case which he considers as the most dangerous case he handled in his entire career.

“I received flowers for burial in the house twice. That was the only time I hired bodyguards since my mother had been worrying and crying because of those threats,” said Topacio, who used to be the legal counsel of Col. Cezar Mancao II, the principal witness  against Sen. Panfilo Lacson in the said case.

Aside from their dangerous lives as criminal lawyers, Kapunan and Topacio also talk about their fulfilling personal lives as parents.

ABS-CBN: Kris Aquino Stays as PGT Judge Despite Announcement to Quit Showbiz

Kris Aquino will have to stay as judge in Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 albeit she decided to quit showbiz. In the official statement released by ABS-CBN on March 23 via its head of corporate communications Bong Osorio, it specified that Kris needed to fulfill her commitments in the franchise until the show ends in June.

Below is ABS-CBN's official statement regarding Kris Aquino's resignation:

Ms. Kris Aquino and her kids are going on an earlier planned vacation starting today, March 23. Upon her return, Kris will fulfill her commitments to her soap Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw, which is nearing its end. She will also have to stay as a judge in Pilipinas Got Talent till its end on June. Being a foreign franchise, there are commitments we have to fulfill and rules we need to abide by. Kris TV had taped advanced episodes in anticipation of her long planned vacation with her sons. Ms. Kris aquino and ABS-CBN management are also scheduled to meet upon her return to Manila. Meanwhile, we wish Kris and her sons a peaceful and restful vacation. We respect her need for privacy at this difficult time.

In her interview with TV Patrol, Kris revealed that she is tendering her resignation from ABS-CBN and that she is quitting her shows. The decision came after her issue with ex-husband James Yap which became a hot topic recently.

"I’m stating this now categorically, I have to make a sacrifice. They don’t deserve this, my family doesn’t deserve this suffering. I don’t want to be selfish for the rest of my life. Humihingi ako ng paumanhin lalong-lalo na sa lahat ng katrabaho ko na nandito ngayon pero sana maunawaan ninyo ako, I have to do what’s best for my son and that means sacrificing this career, sacrificing this job," Kris told Ted Failon in her TV Patrol interview.

"I’m giving up my shows. Hindi ko sinasabi 'yan just so that I can say na I’m the one making the bigger sacrifice. Tinatalikuran ko ang mundo na kinilala ko na bumuhay sa akin dahil higit doon sa karera ko, mas mahal ko ang anak ko. I am tendering my resignation!"
