Joe Jonas Arrives in Manila for Bench

Joe Jonas, the eldest of the Jonas Brothers is now in Manila to fulfill his commitments as the newest Bench international endorser. Joe Jonas arrived in the Philippines early today, May 22 and he was warmly welcomed by fans at the NAIA Terminal 2 as early as 3:00 a.m.

Joe Jonas was game posing for pictures taken by fans and always wore a smile while waving at his Filipino followers. Joe Jonas will have a press launch and a meet-and-greet tomorrow, May 23 at the Makati Shangri-la.

He will also visit Bench stores and meet fans during his one week visit in the country. Catch him at Ayala Malls in Manila and Cebu (see schedule dates and venue here).

Sam Milby to Return to the Philippines this Week

Actor Sam Milby will be returning to the Philippines on Wednesday, May 16 after three months of auditions in the US to pursue a Hollywood career. Sam, however clarified that his return to the country does not mean giving up his dream of making it big in Hollywood.

In an interview with ABS-CBN news, Sam explained that he is back to finish several commitments, which include working on a new TV series and an album, and possibly a new movie. 

Sam said that during his stay in New York, he tried out on several auditions and casting directors had noticed him which will be a booster for his next try out for the casting season of TV series next year.

“All the casting directors are really noticing me, liking me, and that's a big thing. Let alone the agency that is taking me in, that already is a big thing,” he said.

Sam, although did not land a role in a Hollywood TV series will not return without quite an achievement. Sam became a part of Anna Maria Perez de Tagle's charity concert on board the cutting-edge Hornblower Hybrid along with High School Musical's Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth). Anna Maria is the granddaughter of  Kundiman Queen Sylvia La Torre, and has appeared in big Disney projects such as Hannah Montana and Camp Rock. Anna Maria is also starring in the broadway musical, Godspell.

Sam did a great job at Anna Maria's concert that even the latter's manager, Kevin Jonas Sr. (father of the Jonas Brothers) was impressed with his performance.

“Amazed at his talent, obviously the girls love him… He's gonna be okay, judging by the response of the crowd. He will be good. Take it slow and make the right choices,” said Kevin Jonas Sr.

With Sam Milby's return to the Philippines, his fans will be rejoicing as he is said to star in a primetime TV series soon.
