Check out the video of the battle between vocal powerhouse Janice Javier and rocker Lance Fabros in The Voice of the Philippines which was aired Saturday, August 10.

Team Apl's Janice Javier and Lance Fabros brought the house down with Journey's Don't Stop Believing. Even though Arnel (the lead singer of Journey) was their guest adviser, both Janice and Lance did not let pressure rule and delivered an extraordinary show. Though Lance was a natural-born performer, it was the vocal powerhouse in Janice that made their coach choose the latter to advance to the live shows.

Yuki Ito The Voice of the Philippines Performance | First Openly Gay Artist Joins Team Sarah

The Voice of the Philippines is truly looking for the voice and not the looks nor the gender as Yuki Ito, the first ever openly gay artist made it to the Blind Auditions of the said reality singing search on Sunday, July 7.

Hideyuki, the 22-year-old half-Japanese performed It's A Man's World to the delight of the crowd and the coaches. Sarah Geronimo and Lea Salonga both turned for him but as much as he admires and idolizes coach Lea, Yuki still picked Sarah to be his coach.

Aside from Yuki, other artists who advanced to the Battles on Sunday's episode were 19-year-old Stan Perfecto  and band vocalist Lance Fabros (Team Apl), architecture student Kathreen Castro (Team Sarah) and telephone banker Nicole Parada (Team Bamboo).
