Maja Salvador Confirms Break Up with Matteo Guidicelli

Actress Maja Salvador finally ended speculations that she and boyfriend Matteo had broken up. Maja Salvador confirmed the break up on Kris TV,  August 3.

Before Maja's admission that she and Matteo had already ended their relationship, many speculates about the break up since the actress tweeted quotes about heartaches.

It can be recalled that Maja and Matteo neared calling it quits after the Star Magic Ball controversy between Matteo and Coco last year which involved the two in a fistfight because of Maja. That issue made Maja admit that she and Matteo were already a couple at that time.

In an interview with Kris Aquino on Friday, Maja said that she is single again but made it clear to all that she and Matteo are still friends. She also said that the reason for their break up is not a third party but a mutual decision of the two to concentrate more on their respective careers.

"Sobrang magkaibigan kami. Kasi wala namang third party, parang nag-decide lang kami na i-end muna ang relationship kasi may priorities kaming dapat unahin like siya yung career niya at pagiging triathlete niya siyempre yung oras mo sobrang mahahati sa lahat tapos ako din naman sa trabaho, yung taping namin so minsan mahirap yung hindi laging nagkikita hindi mabalance yung oras sa isa't isa."

Maja's bestfriend, Kim Chiu said that Matteo Guidicelli is now trying his best to win Maja back. Kim knew that both Maja and Matteo still love each other and she believed that more effort and pushing will get these two together again. In fact, Matteo keeps on visiting Maja on the set of Ina, Kapatid, Anak.
