Queen of all media Kris Aquino is the highest-paid celebrity in 2010 and also the top celebrity taxpayer for that year, a recent document from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) showed. Kris had a total taxable income of P101 million in 2010 and has paid P32.3 million for taxes.
Kris ranked no. 17 in the list of top 500 individual taxpayers for tax year 2010 while clinching the top spot for celebrity taxpayers. Kris is followed by Willie Revillame, Michael V, Sharon Cuneta and Sarah Geronimo as top celebrity tax payers.
