Award-winning actress Maricar Reyes will play the role of a devoted wife and mother in the upcoming family drama of “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” In the episode directed by Garry Fernando, feel Elena’s (Maricar) pain when she discovers that her “ideal husband” Leo (Ariel Rivera) turned out to be married to someone else.

Can Elena give up her dream family and let go of her greatest love or will she give in to her husband’s plea to save their relationship?

After discovering the truth about her past, Elyza (Kim) begins to hate Lori (Angel Aquino) because she feels that her mother neglected her. Kim Chiu Topbills Wansapanataym Month-long Special 'My Fair Kasambahay' this September

Kapamilya primetime princess Kim Chiu will take kids and families to a magical, funny, and lesson-filled adventure this September as she stars the newest month-long special of “Wansapanataym” titled ‘My Fairy Kasambahay.’

From her remarkable portrayals in top-rating primetime drama series such as “Ina Kapatid Anak” and “My Binondo Girl,” and the blockbuster movie “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo,” Kim will return to the small screen next month via “Wansapanataym” as the spoiled brat named Elyza who is set to learn the value of respecting house helpers.

Pinoy Soap Opera Queen Judy Ann Santos continues to keep primetime viewers on the edge of their seats as her character Anessa claims vengeance and risks her all to recover her kidnapped son in ABS-CBN’s consistent top-rating and fast-paced primetime drama series “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala.”

Like Anessa, “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala,” which is set to end soon, stayed undefeatable despite new competition. Based on the latest data from Kantar Media last Friday (August 2), Judy Ann’s drama series scores a 14-point lead versus My Husband’s Lover.

One More Try is the "sexiest kind of family drama," Graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board

Award-winning director Ruel S. Bayani describes his newest masterpiece “One More Try,” starred by Angel Locsin, Dingdong Dantes, Zanjoe Marudo and Angelica Panganiban, as a unique family drama that will touch the hearts of moviegoers in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

“One More Try,” which is graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board, will hit cinemas nationwide on Tuesday, Christmas day (December 25).

“It is still a unique kind of family drama. Yes, nandoon iyong sexy adult theme. Nandoon ang love scenes at ‘yung sex appeal nung apat na main cast,” shared Bayani, who was so impressed with the performance of Angel, Dingdong, Zanjoe and Angelica in the movie. “I would say that it is the sexiest kind of family drama. I think, umuusok siya sa screen. Bumagay ang mga actors ko sa roles nila. Casting coup ito!”

Bayani, who was also the director of the box-office hit “No Other Woman,” believes that the unique and brave narrative of “One More Try” is perfect to be seen by families during Christmas.

“One More Try’ is a movie that will be enjoyed be a lot of people. Kapupulutan ito ng aral at paghuhugutan ng inspirasyon ng maraming pamilyang Pilipino,” said Bayani. “Here, they will discover that a true Filipino family stays together. They go through a crisis and survive that crisis together and they become better people after.”

Bayani further shared that the beauty of ‘One More Try’ lies on the message it imparts to the moviegoers. “Hindi regalo o gayak ang tunay na diwa ng Pasko, kundi ang pagsasama ng pamilya kahit saan, kahit anuman ang mangyari,” he said. “Kaya tamang-tama para sa Pasko ang pelikulang ito dahil makikita dito kung paano magagawa ng isang pamilya ang lahat para sa minamahal nila at kung paano maipararamdam sa mahal mo na hindi mo siya iiwan at lalaban kayong magkasama.”
